Dim Sum Chelsea is by far the best restaurant I've ever been to. The food quality is outstanding, with generous portions served promptly. I especially enjoyed the pork soup dumplings, chive and shrimp dumplings, and the Jumbo Shrimp with bean curd. The jumbo shrimp dish, in particular, is a must-try! Additionally, the service is impeccable, with servers who are incredibly friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Dim Sum Chelsea for a fantastic dining experience.

The food we ordered was good, but not outstanding either. Unfortunately, the description of the dishes is very inaccurate. There was a lot of coriander in one dish. That wasn't described. Unfortunately we don't like that at all. Nonetheless, it was fine for the price. However, we found it a bit rude that we were asked for dessert immediately after the main course had been cleared away. When we said, “maybe later,” the bill was placed on the table less than ten seconds later. Our drinks were still half full. We would have liked to stay a little longer, but we were made to feel like we had to leave quickly as soon as they stopped making money from us.

The only good thing I have to say about this place was the water glass was large. Pork dumplings were raw. They have a B health rating for a reason.

Shrimp lo mein was good.Beef fried rice was good. The chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce was terrible. Not sure how you mess up a simple dish.

The most unfriendly service I have ever seen before. We had to feed our kid so we ordered just for her ($19 order) and they reject to serve us because we have to order min for $15 for each of us. So we can order only “to go”. We even forced to stay on the waiting area 15 minutes for waiting the order, meanwhile the whole place was empty, but still we can’t sit at the table because of $19 order. So shame on you guys

Me and my sister have been living in NYC for 4 years and Dim Sum Chelsea has become our home away from home. The food is the best dim sum in the city, the atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, and the people here are so kind and friendly. Thank you to Sam and everyone at Chelsea Dim Sum for making our New York experience so amazing. Much love!!!

Everything we had was awesome. That includes stuff we didn't really know what to expect when we ordered it. Be adventurous!

I went here multiple times on my last trip to NYC. The food was top notch. Everything I ate was good, my only complaint would be that the sodas are in a can, and I tend to prefer fountain. But that's minor...

This is some of the best Dim Sum in Manhattan. Friends introduced me to this place, and I will go out of my way to visit or make it part of my time in Chelsea if I'm near the area. Staff is great, food is incredible. In my opinion, it's best to go with a group and order a lot so that you can try a lot for a very affordable price. They have beer, wine, and sodas available for drinks. 5-star all around! You cannot go wrong with Dim Sum Chelsea!!

The food is a mixed bag - some dishes like the bok choy and mushrooms are great, but others can be hit or miss. Service is super quick, which is a plus if you're in a hurry. The chicken and eggplant dish had some issues with the quality of ingredients. It's a decent spot for a quick bite, especially on a rainy day when you don't want to go out.

I have to say that Dim Sum is far above the rest. I take out food often from the restaurant and dine also for lunch. The Kung Pao chicken is the best! They have great lunch specials! In addition, my coworkers and I love the mangolian beef and spicy shrimp with hot red peppers. The bok choy in fresh garlic sauce is one of my favorites as well. The owner is friendly and welcoming and the service is great. I highly recommend!

Excellent dim sum option in the area. We were seated quickly and they have a high chair for the babies. Nice selection of teas, beers and wines. We tired a variety of dim sum. The standouts were pork dumpling in spicy sauce (I could drink that sauce), shrimp crystal dumping, shanghai buns, shrimp siu mai (though wouldve preferred pork), and finished off with red bean paste buns. only 2 things i would skip next time are soup dumplings and bbq buns. Both were good but can find better elsewhere. will definitely add this to our regular rotation of dim sum spots!
