When u see chicken feet that's done right as a dim sum dish option, u know the eatery is serious about Hong Kong style Chinese food. Other dim sum items are also excellent. The shop at this location might fit smaller party sizes better, about 4 people but it can accommodate more if needed. Noodle and rice dishes are authentic and delicious. Tea is fragrant and great. Service team is excellent. Peking duck is great. Specialized seafood dishes are great too. A nice find in the heart of Manhattan. Worth the visit and revisits?

Avoid. This place is a rip off. I would give it a minus if i could.
1. The food is horrible and overpriced - the schezuan (as spelled in their menu) shrimp was extremely sweet, i am sure it was made with / dipped in tomato ketchup. The soup dumplings were stale and pulled out of a freezer. The fried rice was horrible, they mentioned it was sticky fried rice. But it was under cooked rice with starch removed. The portion size for the rice was a lot, but it doesn’t matter when the food is horrible.
2. Faulty card machine and tip obsessed staff: There was also some issue with their card machine, while the machine showed that my cards (we tried two different visa cards) were declined, the transaction had actually gone through from my bank and i had to get on a call with my bank to get the transactions cancelled as i had paid with my third card (amex). Also, while we were trying to sort out this mess with our bank, the staff was only concerned (obsessed) with pointing out the Tip section in the receipt to us, which we were yet to sign. They continuously kept on pointing the pen to it, multiple times. I mean come on!!!! First learn to provide good quality food, good tips will flow in automatically, you won’t have to bother any one about it. Anyway, obviously we paid a tip, we were yet to sign the invoice. The staff was also completely insensitive and indifferent to our problem.
They also decided to do some loud maintenance work in the dining area during dinner service, while there were other guests dining.

I got here around 8:30 at night, it was pretty full. And it was only me needing to sit down. It was my first time visiting Manhattan and they cleared a table off SO QUICK when I walked in, I was very impressed. The meal was amazing, service was amazing, the manager was out on the floor making sure the ship was running smoothly. Highly recommend this location.

Friendly helpful staff, great food, huge portions. Pretty basic dining room but that’s ok. If you’re dining alone though it’s difficult because one dish plus rice or side is really too much and they won’t do a half portion.

I recently dined at Dim Sum Palace and had a great experience. I ordered the E-Fu noodles, which normally don’t come with lobster, but they were able to accommodate my special request, and I truly appreciated that.
The E-Fu noodles were unlike any other noodles I’ve tried before—soft with a slight chewiness and a unique savory taste that I found incredibly appealing. The lobster was also a pleasant surprise; instead of the usual boiled lobster with butter, it was covered in a delicious sauce that complemented the lobster perfectly. The whole dish felt different and elevated, and I enjoyed every bite of it. Although the portion was meant for two, I ended up finishing it all by myself!
My coworker ordered the Singapore noodles, but after tasting my E-Fu noodles, he preferred mine too. Overall, the meal was a refreshing change from the usual, and I’m 100% coming back when I’m in the area again. If you’re looking to try something new, Dim Sum Palace is definitely the place to go!

Yep...gotta get some dumplings here. Absolutely scrummy and the soup dumplings are a definite MUST TRY! Service is fantastic and great 1/2 price happy hour cocktails that definitely compliment the meal! Try several dumplings and have fun sharing!!

Most were very tasty. American Chinese fried rice doesn't have the same rice flavor as it does in Japan, but I like the crispy texture of fried rice with strong heat and just the right amount of seasoning.
The xiao long bao had a strong flavor, but the skin was a little thick and chewy. The pork buns (meat buns) had a unique seasoning, and the shrimp dumplings had a ridiculous amount of chives, but the other noodles were delicious.

This is the 2nd Dim Sum Palace and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and food potions are huge so be warned only a couple of options will fill the tables. We'd highly recommend if you're looked for great food in this area.

This is my go-to spot for Dim Sum! The food is consistently fresh and delicious—shrimp dumplings and BBQ pork buns are a must-try. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Whether I'm craving a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!
