thoroughly enjoyed everything i ate and the ambiance is divine for an LES spot that does not have any pretentious vibes. burger is juicy. the sides are perfectly composed. drinks were strong and oysters perfectly shucked. and the staff is super nice and accommodating. can’t wait to come

We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Although busy night had us seated late, the food , hospitality and ambiance were excellent and we'd happily return on a date night or with friends.

Everything at this place is incredible. The food, drinks, and atmosphere is incredible - but more than anything - THE PEOPLE. I highly suggest everyone come here and ask for Pamela (with the braids). Authentic, engaging, weird, and brilliant. Makes for an experience unlike something you will get anywhere else. Will become a regular spot. Pamela is one of a f*cking kind. Give that girl an Oscar we love her. Love this place but love Pamela more.. ASK FOR HER

My friend and I came here for dinner the other night as she mentioned she had been before, and always enjoyed the food. We made a reservation for 8:30pm, but we were able to be seated earlier, which was great. We ordered the little gem salad, the truffle Mac and Cheese and the Duck (which my friend was very excited about). They came by with this amazing fluffy bread and dip before our food came out, and I was contemplating ordering another one because it was that good. The restaurant itself is very dimly lit and has a sexy vibe, so great for catching up with a friend or two or for a date night. Would definitely come back here again!

Amazing service amazing food. At first I was a bit turned off when we came in. We had 6:15 reservations we 15/20 min walk here (I am super pregnant) arrived at 6pm. Restaurant wasn't even full it was empty... they had us wait in the lounge. We were seated at 6;15 and our server PAMELA turned everything around!! Pamela is a phenomenal server!! She just made our dinner experience 10x better!! She went above and beyond everything.
Very good. Staff is great. I was so lost and felt out of place but they made me feel welcomed and had suggestions for me. Will be returning.

I dream about the mushroom Meuille feuille here - it's that good! They rotate the sauces for it and I've tried the green curry which is amazing. The duck a l'orange is also *chefs kiss*. A smaller portion but perfect crispness to the skin and the sauce is wonderful.

My husband and I went to the Dirty French around Christmas time and even if we appreciated the decorations and atmosphere, we were disappointed with the food. The chicken and the bass were tasteless and we had to order sides as an extra. This is the first time in my life a main dish comes without sides.
