Jose behind the bar is great. He gave some terrific tequila recommendations. And don't let the name fool ya! Dive Bar has quality drinks and food at reasonable prices.
Speaking of food, the offerings are numerous. If you are hungry and can't find something to be happy about here, I don't know what to tell you. They have standard bar/pub/taqueria fare, and an amazing selection of other offerings. I fall hard for a good muffaletta, Korean hot dog, or Cuban. Really, the menu is no joke, check it out. Lots of healthy, vegetarian, and vegan options too.
Chill atmosphere, alone or with friends. The game will be on, but if you want to escape outside, there is outdoor/sidewalk dining.
