My favorite jazz club in the world - I LOVE Dizzys. Enjoy some of the best live music you will ever hear, get a bottle of the Rioja Vina Alberdi, and ENJOY!!!
Let me tell you, the cats that play at Dizzys are the real deal! The drummer lays back, the bass player opens their ears, and the band is just swinging! I’ve seen Ulysses Owens, Matthew Whitaker, Azar Lawrence, and many other incredible players at Dizzys and I can’t recommend it strongly enough!!

It is a good alternative if you are looking for an evening of jazz... although it is not a great deal for what you pay. There are much better options in the Village and the quality of the show is on another level. I liked it: yes. Would I go back? No. Too expensive for four songs and a drink.

I have gone to dizzys for over 15 years for various performances. I attended three sets in the last month and each one was shortened. They recently cut the sets to be 1 hour and 15 mins which I do not think is correct. They used to be just under two hours. It feels like one is a bit short-changed with the shorter sets; other jazz clubs have longer sets which gives one a chance to really settle in and enjoy a beautiful night of music.

Had an absolute blast at Dizzy's with my 12 year-old daughter, a new jazz enthusiast and beginning saxophonist. After Ulysses Owens' performance, I would say she is now a full-blown jazz enthusiast. It was worth it to come here just to see her eyes glued on the band for the entire hour+ performance. She could not get enough of the incredible live music, solos, improvising, etc. What an experience for us both. I loved the music just as much, but had never been to Dizzy's. The backdrop view of Central Park, Columbus Circle, and the NYC skyline? Wow.

I didn’t dine, as I was primarily there for the music. Unfortunately, the style of jazz wasn’t to my taste. The performance leaned heavily on loud instruments like drums and trumpet, which overpowered the other elements. I was hoping for more saxophone, but there was very little so it left me a bit disappointed overall.
The view of New York outside the jazz bar is great.
The jazz is great and the staff are friendly.

Superb atmosphere, beautiful view and the sound of jazz, including the talented group The Cookers! We came away very delighted, in addition to the sympathy of the waitress. The meal didn't appeal to us but the quality is there. We basically came to listen and for the view in addition to the meal.

Just horrible. Can't understand the good reviews. Copying an email we sent to the venue; in short, many tables provide no view of the stage and the staff is rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. My wife and I have attended 20+ jazz clubs across the US and Europe; Dizzy's is by far the worst venue arrangement.
Currently disputing with credit card as the venue did not respond whatsoever. Will be reaching out to Lincoln Center (which apparently manages this jazz club) shortly.

Extremely good service by waitress, and the environment was so intimate! Went to a show with Jimmy Bosch and everyone loved it. Food was delicious, and had a chance to talk with the artists afterwards about their experiences.

Loved every sec.. The performance was immaculate. Josanne Francis and the band of other performers signed.
They gained themselves a new fan... Dizzy's Club was better than expected.
