My friend and I got the spring rolls, smash burger and one of the drinks. I can't remember the name or the drink but everything was really good. Our server was attentive and made sure to check on us every so often to make sure we were good and got all that we needed. It didn't take too long for things to come out, I felt like there was a steady flow. The music is good + it was at the perfect levels. We enjoyed it while still being able to hear one another talk. It's not a huge location but it's very spacious (my friend called this out specifically). You didn't feel like you were on top of anyone else. FYI, we did go on a random Tuesday for my birthday lol. Not sure how it runs on the weekends but we had a great time.

This is the place you go for atmosphere ONLY! Beautiful restaurant, amazing location and great ambience. Music selection was fun, staff was welcoming. Food was extremely lack luster, especially for the prices. I had the crispy rice party, and it was probably the highlight of the evening but still subpar to many other crispy rice dishes in the city for a much a better price. The salmon dish was absolutely disgusting and my friend had a burger that looked like it came from the shake shack menu only there would probably better, OH and the French fries were soggy. I love to support ANY black business especially in NYC, ESPECIALLY IN WEST VILLAGE! Was really excited about trying this place and pretty bummed with my experience. After we ordered our food we never saw our waitress again. It took over an hour to get our appetizers another 30 min for our entrees. When we were done I had to get up to ask for our check because we sat there for another 30 minutes waiting just for someone to come assist our table. I hope they update this menu and do better.

Got roofied here, ordered drinks via table and I am assuming when the drinks were sitting at the bar for delivery was when it happened but my reaction was instant, I got dizzy, couldn’t walk, sick, passing out, unable to conjugate words and no memory after we left there. Really crazy someone would do that there but two drinks would not cause me to react like this…

Drinks were strong and the flavors together were great. Several drink options. All the food was really good (crispy rice platter, chicken wings, mac and cheese was my favorite, elote, and the tacos flavors were really good but probably not for everyone due to the octopus). Perfect atmosphere for an intimate date, but good for any type of gathering.

Me & my bestie went to DND for a Tuesday happy hour and absolutely loved it. Our waitress, the ambiance, plus the food & drinks were all 10/10! Highly suggest: Thug Passion (drink), and the food—east coast oysters, tuna crispy rice, mac & cheese, and the smashed burger & fries.
Wonderful, low ceiling, speakeasy style bar. Restaurant features excellent dishes. Atmosphere is worth every penny. Reserve a table in advance if you can.

The wings are also perfectly crispy and juicy at the same time with incredible flavor. 10/10 experience - don’t think twice about coming here! You won’t be disappointed at all
