Docks Oyster Bar - Midtown East, NYC

Their happy hour is amazing. My daughter and I had the Rose which was delicious for $9.! We just had the deviled eggs from happy hour but the menu had great choices. I had the branzino and clam chowder- both very good. My daughter had the lobster roll which was generous and delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly.

What an amazing experience. From the moment we walked till we left everything was perfection. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Thank you so much to everyone who made this evening lovely. We will be back!

Had the oysters sampler as well as Rockefeller with side salad and vegetables, absolutely delicious. Didn't realize I should have waited for Happy Hour for a much better oyster price though - my fault! Had 2 cocktails which were both good and staff were all very nice. NYC is expensive as it is, but this was overall a great value and I'll definitely return if I ever get back.

I've loved docks for years ~ east coast oysters were great , as was my sea bass . Out server , Josie , was terrific

Great Staff, delicious meals, lovely location. It has become my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Steve is the manager and he does canals job.

The appetizers were good but the entrees were disappointing. We were a group of 3 and ordered the seared tuna that was not fresh, a very chewy filet and a less than average fish and chips. I've dined here several times and always had a decent meal while in town.

Fried Calamari were very tasty! Linguine with clams were good but a little bland. Great service and ambience! Noisy but we got a table in the back which was better. Will definitely go back.

Server (Mary) was terrific and helpful. Lobster risotto and linguini with clams excellent. Bok choi/mushrooms side was average. Varied menu. There was a lot to choose from.

Our table was ready...our server was prompt, professional and courteous...and our food was AMAZING! Thank you for an wonderful Easter experience...we'll be back!

Once again Docks did not disappoint. Food was fabulous as always, Service great and ambience perfect. We had Easter brunch and while I had reserved a table for 6 we had a last minute addition which was not a problem at all. All in all a lovely time was had by all.

We had not been here in a while. Having said that, this is primarily a seafood restaurant and seafood has gotten expensive. I think their prices are fair and there is value here. We had a great meal and an overall good experience.

Excellent all around. Great menu, diverse selection of drinks, fresh food, busy, and excellent service. Oysters were magnificent.

One of our favorite spots to visit when in The City. The bustling vibe is always exciting. We were welcomed to a nice window view table in the front. Welcomed by Mary who did a wonderful job of making us feel welcomed back. Drinks and appitizer and entrees were all great! See you in the Summer

We had an amazing time. Was our first time definitely worth it. For the first time I had order only seafood meal for the table. My honey loves seafood whereas I had just started eating cooked seafood( improving on eating raw seafood 😝).I hesitated on trying raw for years until now. Glad we chose Docks oyster bar for dinner date night.

Docks is a good spot for dinner but also has a fantastic happy hour. Zoe works the bar and alone is worth the visit. Great drinks, engaging conversation, and has complete command of her environment. The best!
