One of my favorite places to grab some warm and delicious noodles. The place is cozy, quiet, and food is so good.

We found this authentic Japanese restaurant serving Ramen, Rice and noodles in a warm, inviting space near NYU. It tasted just like what I had in Tokyo last year. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Insanely fantastic food. Worth every penny. It’s also a lowkey spot but still has a cute sit down area.

A little expensive, long wait for the food to arrive. The menu doesn't have prices nor list of ingredients.

DokoDemo is a welcome surprise in the East Village - casual, efficient, and satisfying. The setup is straightforward: order at the counter, grab a seat, and settle in for a relaxed meal. Service is quick without feeling rushed.

The menu keeps things simple and well-organized. The front page shows photos of the dishes, while the back lists all the items; mostly hearty entrees with a few sides. It makes group ordering easy and low-stress.

We tried a a few dishes: yakisoba noodles, udon noodles, fried chicken over rice, a spicy beef bowl, and okonomiyaki. Everything was great and came out quickly, fresh and hot. Portions were generous without being over the top.

For the East Village, DokoDemo stands out. You can actually sit down, enjoy good food, and talk, all at a fair price point. I will gladly return!

Small room with bass-boosted music to set the tone. You can get okonomoyaki for a minimum cost of around $17, without any additions—a little more than I was hoping for. Topped with your typical okonomiyaki condiments, you're hit with a strong, vibrant flavor. The batter is soft and fluffy, but crispy on the edges. On the inside, the vegetable pieces vary in size, with some being particularly large, offsetting the consistency of each bite. There's not a whole lot of flavor on the inside, leaving the condiments to pull the weight, but they do so moderately well.

Really loved this place. My okonomiyaki tasted authentic and it took me back to my visit to Osaka years ago. Servers are friendly and helpful.
