Amazing place! I went here to get a celebration dinner for myself, and it was great. The food was delicious, the staff were kind, and the place itself is very peaceful on a weekday night. The okonomiyaki was really wonderful, and it was a meal that was wholesome and left me feeling very satisfied. They have great drinks in the fridge too. Check this place out!

I live in the area and return to Dokodemo time and time again, never leaving unhappy! Whether it’s for weekday lunch or a date night, the food always hits the spot and is made with tender care. But what separates this place from the others (even the other phenomenal restaurants in the East Village) is the care and attention it gives to regular customers. I go to Doko Demo every time I’m in New York. It’s a simple and welcoming spot a great little local gem that always makes you feel at home.

The food is absolutely delicious, portions are generous, prices are fair, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything is fresh and made with care.

We’re always greeted warmly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Honestly, it’s the best dining experience I’ve had...
