I've been here so many times over the years and it is really unfortunate that this place has gone so far downhill. Portion sizes are smaller, prices are higher and taste is not as good. One of their signature dishes is the spicy noodle soup and this time it was just bland with absolutely no spice at all. Two of the four chairs at our table were ripped and caved in. Makes me suspect their lease is coming to an end so they are just milking it for now. Place was still packed on a Sunday lunch time though.

This is one of the best Korean Chinese restaurants in the tri-state area. The restaurant is clean and the service is solid.

This is one of the best Korean Chinese restaurants in the tri-state area. The restaurant is clean and the service is solid. The triumvirate of Korean Chinese restaurants consists of chajangmyun (noodles with black bean paste sauce), champong (spicy seafood noodle soup) and tangsooyok (sweet and sour beef or pork). And they are excellent at Fong Chun Hong. Chajangmyun, even in its base version, has lots of chunky meat and vegetable pieces. Champong, even in its base version, has lots of seafood - no need to order the extra seafood version. And both dishes are much less greasy and less salty than those found in typical Korean Chinese places. Tangsooyok (both in pork and beef versions) had tender mests and the sauce was less sweet than those found in other Korean Chinese places. But I did find it odd that there was no pineapple added to the sauce, which leads me to believe 100% of the sweetness comes from sugar. The pork buns were disappointing because the sauce was a bit too sweet but the buns were soft and moist and the meat was tender. Overall, this place deserves a look for those craving for Korean Chinese food.

Have been there 3 times as small (2-3) and medium-sized (10-12) group and as far as I know, it's the best and most-loved Korean-Chinese eatery in New York. The foods taste great while they are appropriately portioned and priced. Their service is also always friendly and quite impeccable. Overall, I'm glad this restaurant exists and runs very well.

Good taste and clean inside.

Authentic Korean style Chinese food. It's even better than typical chinese resteraunts in Korea. Quite busy place. Meat dishes are wonderful and will fit well the westerner's taste.

Stopped by dinner with friends. We're starving from we fought from LA or Dallas. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I gave 3star here and reason is we disappointed their food today. My friend was visiting in NY for the first time and I took her this place cuz she wanted eat korean style Chinese food. Food(2.5/5)-We ordered jangban-jjajangmyeon with spicy, spicy jjamppong, honey mayo shrimp, crab meat soup, seaweed fulvescens nurungji tang. Jangban jjajangmyeon was just ok, the noodle was over cooked and salty. A lot of seafood with spicy. I've eaten this serval times before and usually delicious but this time wasn't good than before. Jjamppong was so so. Not too good or not too bad but I would recommend you that try other seafood jjamppong, don't try spicy gochu jjamppong. Crab meat soup was good but I wish it would better taste if less salty. Honey mayo shrimp was fantastic. Shrimp is only 6 pc but they gave us 8pc from kitchen made mistakes and they gave us extra shrimp. oh yeah~ we got 2shrimp as service, it made us felt very happy seaweed fulvescens nurungji tang was best dishes today. I didn't like seaweed fulvescens but my friends were love that. Fully flavorful and it's healthy food. Good for your body warm up. This place seafoods are fresh and generous of seafood. I thought I will not try eat seafood for few days from now on. Every dishes were salty to us but we enjoyed our meals. Service(5/5)- our table waitress was accommodating and she's sweethearts. She know how to served our foods and foods were came out so faster and fresh hot than you expect.

I've been here several times and I'm still conflicted as to whether or not I should give this place a 3 star rating or a 4 star. I ultimately decided to give this place 3 stars because most of the dishes taste pretty bland and oily. While this restaurant is marketed as a Korean Chinese fusion place, the dishes don't taste that authentic and there isn't anything special about the flavors of the dishes. The reason why this place might deserve a 4 star rating is because of the jajangmyeon they serve. This place is my go to for jajangmyeon in Ktown - it's soooo good and they give you a ton of sauce. The black bean sauce comes with pieces of meat, onion, and a few peas, and this dish alone is enough for me to keep coming back to this restaurant! They have different options for the jajangmyeon as well (you can order just the jajangmyeon or pair it as a combo with chicken or other types of meat). If you are ever craving jajangmyeon, definitely hit this place up! If you aren't, then I would pass on this restaurant.

4.5 stars further jajangmyun only. Skip everything else. They have different kinds - I'd say the original is the best option. You can also get half half with spicy seafood noodle. The sweet and sour pork or beef or the spicy chicken is just so so, you can get better from heart food court. They have a semi private section so great for a large group gathering. The issue is their phone line is down so there is no way to reach the restaurant to make reservation. I had to call the fort Lee location and luckily they're nice enough to pass on the message. Service is so so. They didn't give us enough menu and took a while to get their attention. Once you order, food came out really fast though. Free wine with yelp check in. They also have the punch card - buy 10 noodles get one free. I'll be getting my share of jjm from here soon.

My go-to jjajangmyun place!! Altho im a jjajang girl, i have to say their jjambbong is better than the jjajang. They have these combo deals where you can get some sort of myun / noodle with a fried meat dish (kkanpoonggi, tangsooyook) or fried rice. And they also have jjamjjyun!! Things ive tried: - jjajangmyun (9/10): always a classic, nothing fancy but also nothing wrong either - jjambbong (10/10): they add in a looooooot of seafood which i really appreciate and the spice level is just right - giseumyun (7/10): not sure if it iwas bc it wasn't what i was expecting but this was just eh, nothing special or particularly worthy of eating again - sachun jjajang (9/10): also very good, and it is actually quite spicy - spicy seafood jjambbong (10/10): very spicy and so much seafood Four stars bc price is a liiiiittle pricier than i'd like but they do have a stampcard system!
