It’s a nice place to relax and have drinks. I liked how they have multiple tvs to show college games. Service was great as well! Also music was playing and it wasn’t too loud either and the playlist was great!

An excellent place to spend time with friends and family. The bartender Sergio and the staff are super attentive and friendly.

Wings not too bad nor too dry. Nice and big. Burger too messy because it looks like they just hose entire thing with their special sauce which is cross between mayo and some salad dressing. I don’t really understand why they do this as if they expect you to eat with knife and fork since eating with hands is just a really messy ordeal. I shud be able to hold burger without any grease or sauce on my hands. Its double patties feel more like a 1/3 pounder. Patties not smashed but quite thin. I’m disappointed since there are much better burgers nearby. Fries very average as well. The free popcorn served warm beats all the paid food I had.

Place really packs around 5:30 pm but surprisingly dies down at 6 pm. It’s your average bar so it’s very noisy and loud. I’m sitting next to crowd who are screaming their conversations to offset surrounding noise. Just too loud and uncomfortably warm for me. Not really my vibe.

I’ve been here a few times with the family, and the food has been excellent during previous visits, which is why we chose to return recently.

Most of the dishes were great, but unfortunately, the hamburger sliders were severely undercooked. One of the servers (not the one attending to us) took the sliders back with the intention of correcting the raw patties, only to return with them still undercooked. It appeared they put our half-chewed sliders back into the oven or a plate to try to cook them, but they were still raw.

We had to tell the server that we did not want the raw ground beef patties.

Our actual server was friendly and took the sliders off our bill.

We will be returning, but likely will not be trying the sliders again.

Dorlan's, located in the historic South Street Seaport in New York City, is a fantastic spot that perfectly balances a classic pub atmosphere with high-quality food and drinks. I recently went there and was thoroughly impressed, especially by their take on comfort food classics.

My friends and I were craving something hearty, and we were not disappointed. We ordered a big chicken sandwich and a juicy burger to share, and both were outstanding. The chicken sandwich was a true showstopper—perfectly fried to a golden crisp while remaining incredibly moist and tender on the inside. It was a generous size and had a fantastic, flavorful crunch with every bite. The burger was equally impressive. It was cooked to a perfect medium, with a patty so juicy and rich that it practically melted in your mouth. The classic toppings and a toasted bun made for a flawless burger experience.

What made the meal even better were the sides and drinks. The fries were a perfect companion, hot and crispy, and just the right amount of salt. And the cocktails were excellent. We each had a few different ones, and they were all expertly mixed and well-balanced—they weren't just an afterthought but a highlight of the meal. The entire place has a warm and inviting vibe, and the staff was friendly and attentive. For a spot that feels like a cozy neighborhood tavern but serves up incredible, elevated pub fare and great drinks, Dorlan's is a definite winner.

Food was tasty & lived up to other reviews here. Had fish & chips, tacos, burger, chicken tenders, wedge salad, & calamari. The Guinness pour was perfect, though not with a fancy finish. The only problem was the fish & chips order came out 30 minutes after everyone else at the table had finished eating. This after asking no less than 4 people, including the waitress & kitchen staff, about the order. We were offered something on the house as an apology, but too little too late as we were ready to leave. We were not comped anything on the check. We will be back in the city again, but likely will not return here to spend money. Plenty of other places to dine.

I have been coming here every once-in-a-while for years, and it is truly a special place. The beer-and-shot combo with a dash of their popcorn is really all you need to start a great night in the seaport area. Food looks good, but can't say I've had it... yet...
