Been to The Coop at DCP multiple times and has always been a prime choice for us to bring out-of-state visitors for the unique experience and nobody's left disappointed. We've never been let down in our experience with the service, food or drinks. Would definitely recommend all the items on the menu😁.

Queued at 5pm, seated in the bar, waited two more hours, then told our full party present—to sit in the bar again. No clarity, no table, just wasted time. Management: please address your waitlist and seating policy; this felt like a bait-and-wait, not hospitality.

I've come here 2x and the drinks are always so fun and interior design is immaculate. The apps are also amazing and I usually get the popcorn chicken. Last time we came we paid the check after we ordered our last round. We hadn't reached the 2hr seating time yet (we were one of the first groups seated when they opened so it was easy to check), but they told us they had to seat the next group and asked us to leave even though people were still in the restroom and hadn't finished their drinks yet. They told us to go to the front room which was packed too (group of 6). I found that slightly offputting.

Great spot - ambience is a 100/10. Cocktails are stunning paired with remixed fast-food. You can’t avoid ordering a chicken sandwich to get the full experience, but Chik-a-fila is a close second food-wise.

Really really cool spot. Overall I enjoyed everything I had, with the star being the popcorn chicken.
Sadly they were out of one thing I wanted to try. I got to try both the free range area, as well as the coop. Both have different menus and both have interesting things on each.
Only thing that somewhat soured the visit, is the last drink took ~30 minutes or so to come out. I believe the staff forgot about it, since a table near us ordered after and got their drinks 10 minutes before.
With that said I would definitely go back.

Lives up to its ranking as one of the best cocktail bars in the US! Drinks are very creative and delicious - I was especially impressed with the Back Bar, where all drinks were based on specific foods and truly captured their essence. It is busy and dark for sure, and we had a wait to get into the Back Bar, but it was shorter than expected. I will absolutely be returning next time I’m in NYC, and I have already recommended it to many friends!
