Although the food is so so. they have the most innovative drinks here and they are amazing. They are popular and crowded, and there are lots of rules, which they are not very flexible about.

I thought Tuesday would be less people.
No no no, I was there 4:30 pm, there's 14 people in line already.
If your party didn't arrive when they host you, you will be put in waiting list for the coop. That's at least 1 hours and 15 mins.
Waiting inside the bar is one drink/person, even though the menu is not as fun as the coop, there's some interesting drink and friendly bar tender.
Still don't know how to make reservations, everyday is unbelievable for 2 people.

Cool place, we were greeted warmly. Its best to either get a reservation or get there before they open. The wait for the chicken coupe was about a 3hr wait, the wait for the bar not so much. 15 mins or so the atmosphere was a vibe , good playlist . The drinks on the menu are based off of cartoon characters , I chose the what's up doc which was based off bugs bunny. My friend chose the space dog which was based on lilo & stitch. Interesting food menu but we were able to find some bites. I like how playful the menu is. So we went with the lobster shiso tempura and sticky wings. The lobster shiso tempura was amazing and colorful. Sticky wings were not my steez , I think I would of liked them more crispy. Nonetheless it was a great experience and we cannot wait to go back and get the full real deal. See ya soon!

A great cocktail bar with really unique cocktails! Most people recommend Coop room which I went for and it was a great choice! The cocktails are based on and named after food - from starters to mains to dessert. It does not mean though that they necessarily taste like food so don’t be afraid. The Japanese Cold Noodle is one of their most known cocktails and it’s a great one to start the evening with! It has a truly unique and interesting flavour and yet it doesn’t shout so many people will like it. The Red Eye Gravy is super strong in flavour, tastes like smoked whiskey with butter - pretty good! The French toast cocktail did not have any unique flavour but it was just a very good cocktail - a bit on the sweeter side and also definitely an option many people will like. They have a couple of food options and the Bolognese Grilled Cheese was just incredible! The bun was tender, there was ample cheese and it was very juicy. The portion size was decent too. The only disappointment was the staff that were rushing me out as the booking was only for 90mins. All could be understandable if it did not take them 10-15 minutes to get me my cocktail. Overall an excellent bar still, and well worth being in the top 50 bars of the world

French toast, NY beet salad, Japanese cold salad, & I forgot the name of the last drink. Regardless of how they may taste compared to a regular cocktail, these drinks are fun and creative. Have an open mind & it’ll be worth your time 🥳

It took a long time for us to get into the backroom, but it was totally worth it. Their cocktails are all very impressive, very novel and pleasingly surprising. The mochi chicken sandwich was quite hard to eat!

Please don’t sit in Free Range, wait to sit in The Coop. Free range drinks are not as good, I found them to be okay but not amazing. the space is so much more boring, and it has no cohesiveness. Doesn’t match the drinks at all. It just feel like you’re settling and it’s not worth the journey there to go to Free range.

A previous attempt a few months ago was unsuccessful in getting in due to the long queue, but tonight we were able to get in on the second attempt. Cocktails are based on dishes. Subtle, not overpowering. Tasty combinations, plenty of choice. Classics also possible. Service is friendly, food also tasty.

Double Chicken Please offers an unforgettable dining experience with stellar food, mind-blowing cocktails, and a trendy, yet laid-back vibe. This hidden gem truly lives up to the hype and its impressively high ranking as the 14th best bar in the world.

Starting with the logistics, while they don't accept reservations, the hosts maintain an efficient waitlist system. We left our names around 6 PM, prepared for an 11 PM seating, but were pleasantly surprised to receive our table readiness notification by 8:30 PM. So, stay nearby—you might get lucky!

When you arrive, you’ll be faced with a choice: front or back seating. While I’m not entirely sure about the distinction, the back seemed to offer a more classic sit-down experience, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

At first glance, the cocktail menu may seem intimidating or peculiar with choices like “Key Lime Pie” or “NY Beet Salad.” However, I assure you, each cocktail delivers exactly what it promises. These ingenious creations truly taste like their namesakes—a testament to the mixologists' artistry. For a sweet finish, the “French Toast” cocktail is an absolute must-try. It’s an indulgent liquid dessert that rounds off the evening perfectly.

The culinary offerings are just as impressive. We opted for the hot honey chicken sandwich and the bolognese grilled cheese to share. Every bite was a revelation—the bread was perfectly crunchy, the chicken irresistibly juicy, and the flavor combinations were simply extraordinary.

Whether you’re a food enthusiast or a cocktail connoisseur, Double Chicken Please is a mandatory stop. Just remember, patience and a little flexibility are key, but trust me, it’s remarkably worth it!

Very cool, fun place. We got there 20 minutes before they opened and the line had formed - probably 10 deep. Popcorn chicken was tasty and the drinks were inventive. You want to drink a cold pizza? You can. I’d recommend the Waldorf salad, red eye gravy, Japanese cold noodles, and mango sticky rice drinks.

Double Chicken Please is always a great time. We tried walking in and the wait was estimated to be around 3 hrs. We grabbed some dinner in the area and were eventually texted that our table was ready. Once seated, we were quickly served. The food and drinks were great as always. I highly recommend the custard bun drink.

This place absolutely lives up to the hype! The drinks are truly incredible—creative, well-balanced, and featuring unique flavor combinations that make each cocktail an experience in itself. Whether you’re a cocktail enthusiast or just looking for something special, you won’t be disappointed.

Also, they have real vegetarian food options. For once, they aren’t just afterthoughts or dishes with missing ingredients—they’re real, well-crafted meals that are just as exciting as the rest of the menu. It’s refreshing to see such thoughtful attention to all diners.

Great atmosphere, amazing drinks, and delicious food—definitely a spot worth revisiting!
