I ordered for delivery at 6pm and spent $50 for Chinese take out. After an hour I kept calling the restaurant and they wouldn’t pickup, finally someone answered and said she doesn’t have access to see my order. 2 hours later I called again and she hung up. I called and the lady was very rude yelling at me saying I already received my order and that I was lying. She said if I wanted my food to place another order. I keep calling and they keep ignoring my call. Very rude service. Never got my food. $50 DOWN THE DRAIN.

"JADE DRAGON" is violating the law by charging an 8.8 percent surcharge for takeout orders when using a credit card. There are no signs in the restaurant stating there is a fee involved nor any printed on their menus. GENERAL BUSINESS LAW §518: NY LAW RELATED TO CREDIT AND DEBIT CARD SURCHARGES states clearly that "Businesses are not allowed to advertise a price and add a surcharge at the point of sale when a consumer elects to pay with a credit card."
