Best doughnuts! I have been following these doughnuts from the very start, before any of these shops were open, over 20 years ago is when I tried my first doughnut from them and still to this day feel they are the best, but to top off the taste of these doughnuts, the service is outstanding! The people who work at these shops are the best! And today the young gentleman just put a smile on my face, made the day even greater! Can’t say enough good things💕

I always go to the Doughnut Plant on Valentine’s Day - their rose doughnuts and special filled doughnuts are just divine! This year my order was a little late, but they set me up with a latte and extra doughnut on the house to wait for the fresh shipment. I felt so cared for! I think they could tell I was a little frazzled. These guys are genuinely kind and keep a cool head under pressure, and it shows!

I’ve been eating these donuts for like 20 years. My rating is not for the taste of the doughnut, but the fact that they’ve shrunk the size of these donuts and increased the price exponentially, and I find it really obnoxious and greedy.
I’m not paying almost seven dollars for a freaking doughnut, that’s insane.

Came to Doughnut Plant and tried their dark chocolate sourdoughnut paired with their house blend coffee. The richness of the dark chocolate was perfectly balanced by the subtle tang of the sourdough, and the sweetness of the donut was just right when enjoyed with the coffee. The house blend was smooth and complemented the donut really well. Overall, it was a delicious experience, and I’m looking forward to trying more of their unique doughnuts next time!

Love the donuts, but I would like to speak to the character and integrity of the employees at the grand street location. The employees that worked on Friday January 31st and Saturday Feb 1st. I left my bank card in the card reader when I purchased a 6pack. I did not realize I lost my card till the following afternoon. After much anxiety I finally retraced the card to the doughnut plant. I walked in, asked if it was there and before I could finish, the gentleman that was making a coffee knew exactly where it was. He was told it was there in the morning. I imagine each crew notified the next about it. For that I am so grateful. It’s a wonderful feeling to know there are still people out there that have integrity and empathy. The crew that works here have that in spades. Thank you all. Can’t wait to see you again soon.
I had a disappointing experience with Doughnut Plant on January 17. I placed two online orders that day: one for delivery ($129.37) and another for store pick-up ($122.22). The delivery order was fine, but when I arrived to pick up the second order, I was told that the CREME BRULEE I ordered was out of stock, despite the system allowing me to purchase it.
The staff suggested modifying the order, but I chose to buy a new bulk order in-store ($27.22 + $50.70) with the understanding that the original $122.22 order would be refunded. Unfortunately, the refund never happened. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, the staff seemed unable to confirm what happened in-store.
This experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. I’ve had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. A well-known brand like Doughnut Plant should have a more reliable system and better customer service

Stopped here before heading to the Tenement Museum because I had heard this was the best gluten free donut in the city. I can say the Marcona Almond donut did not disappoint! And the staff is so nice as well. Lovey place to sit by the window too!

This doughnuts are amazing ! I tried the brooklyn blackout, velvet and black & white and they are delicious and moist! Don’t think it twice ! Just go there and don’t worry about the calories cause it’s totally worth it… also the service is amazing 🙏
