Went on a Wednesday at 8pm and there was hardly anyone there. Ambience was cozy and not too bright or loud — something I have come to appreciate when dining out in the city. While we were here on a summer night, I could easily see this being a go-to winter spot. Food was delicious and came out very quickly. We got the spicy lamb yakisoba and the addictive cabbage — enough food for a light meal for two!

I was skeptical at first because there was lamb in a Japanese restaurant, but it is said to be eaten a lot in the Hokkaido region.
The homemade salmon and sea bream were much softer than beef jerky, and even my 7-year-old enjoyed eating them!

Real recognize Real!
I never thought there would be a restaurant in Manhattan, New York that grinds fresh wasabi themselves, and it is Real Japanese Cuisine, as if you were visiting a restaurant in Japan.
The owner is from Hokkaido, so he prepares the food using a fusion of Hokkaido's traditional methods, and each and every dish is truly unique.
The raw fish that came with the set was so fresh, and even the dessert was a fusion of Hokkaido style.
