I ordered a pick up over the phone. I asked for 2 steamed chicken and brocolli with the sauce on the side (one fried rice one brown). She asked what size. I said the lunch special. She asked small or large. Long and behold, I come home and do not see any wontons soups and a 3rd sauce on the side. I called and the manager said they do not do steamed chicken and brocolli for lunch specials, which is a lie because I’ve ordered this over Grubhub in the past and never had an issue. I let it go, but asked for the $2 refunded because I did not need 3 sauces. She said I had to go back into the store to return the sauce and get my $2! Overall - thanks for nothing. Not coming back

Will not be getting delivery from here ever again. For some reason my tip wasn’t added to my online order. The delivery man was an absolute maniac demanding a $7 (15%) tip for 2 block delivery. I ended up giving him $5 cash because he angrily followed me to my apartment door. Completely unprofessional and down right scary. I always tip, but a tip shouldn’t be demanded and you should not follow someone to their apartment like that.

Very disappointed with the service of this establishment. I ordered delivery and had a rude delivery guy come to my apartment and harass me for a bigger tip. Saying I didn’t tip enough, when tip is optional is a slap in the face. They should better vet their employees as this just made me not want to order from them again.

The food is cheap by NYC standards and is quite good. Highly recommend!
Edit: the cold sesame noodles are not good at all. They tasted totally weird and had barely any sauce on them. Hope management fixes this.

To start, ALWAYS delicious. Always happy to order from here. I've never had a problem with the food itself. honestly best Chinese in the area in my opinion.
However, today when I ordered a meal like I normally do, the delivery person came to my door and was essentially trying to bully me into tipping him more. Kept handing me my already paid receipt with a pen and trying to force me to circle other tipping options than what I already selected when I paid for everything online. Not cool. Don't try to guilt ME into giving you more money if you think your employer isn't paying you enough.
The chicken with broccoli was good, but they gave me day old rice. It was hard. Idk.

My son loves Chinese food. He said the lunch I got from Dragon 89 was amazing.
Their pricing is very good: we got to have a soup, pork or vegetables fried rice, and a dish for under ten dollars. My son kept commenting that he thought the lunch was really good and it probably took the chefs a long time to prep. The staff were friendly and worked diligently there.
My son loved their shrimp with mix vegetables, shrimp chow mein, chicken with string beans, beef with bean curd (it had mix vegetables too).
