The best pour over in the city by far. They always have seating space and great, hospitable and knowledgeable baristas.
They also have Black&White coffee bags for sale.
Everytime I come to NYC I come by.

We stopped into Drip on Thanksgiving morning and it felt like such a gift. It is a beautiful, intentional coffee shop tucked inside a gorgeous building, with plenty of comfortable lobby seating where you can actually sit, exhale, and enjoy your cup instead of rushing out the door. Everything feels thoughtfully curated, from the layout to the clean, minimalist bar, to the option to enjoy your drink for here or take it to go as you wander SoHo.
We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, a couple who left the corporate world to build something with real meaning. You can feel that this place is not driven by money, it is driven by purpose, craft, and care. They walked us through the different beans, from lighter, brighter roasts all the way to deeper, darker options, and helped us pick out a bag of Black & White beans to take home. Our coffees were pulled on a beautiful Strada, perfectly dialed in, with silky, glossy milk and latte art that was so precise it lined up with the handle, with perfect contrast in the cup.
What stayed with me most was hearing their story and seeing how deeply they dive into everything they take on. Their knowledge of coffee is encyclopedic, yet their vibe is grounded, humble, and warm. It was genuinely humbling to hear about their journey from corporate to coffee and to experience how that shows up in every detail of the shop. I cannot wait to cross paths with them again at Specialty Coffee Association or Coffee Fest one day, and we will definitely be back the next time we are in New York.

Diluted matcha

Matcha is diluted, worst matcha ever. Waste of my money and more importantly waste of my time. Wouldn’t recommend at all…

Good pour overs but really expensive. The iced Americano was watery.
Service was great! The guy with the tattoos was really nice and made good coffee.
The office building this cafe is in is hilarious. Fantastic people watching. Corporate millennial vibes. Lots of cardigans and sambas. Highly recommend. And the seating is surprisingly comfy although I don't think its for the cafe.

Eleven dollars for a coffee in an office building, lmao. Does seem like they have good beans at least
actually flabbergasted that they charge $10.80 for an iced pourover

Though a little steep in price, the pourovers here are out of this world. They use high end coffee beans with options from washed coffees to co-ferments and thermal shock coffees. The flavor profile is absolutely spot on and the clarity is top notch. The workers behind the brew bar do genuinely seem to care about the passion of coffee and will talk to you and explain any questions you have about the brewing process and why they brew the way they do for a particular coffee. Pretty much the only place I know of in Manhattan that will produce a good pourover.

Came here a few weeks ago with a group of friends. Decent, very standard filter coffee well made but employee was a bit of a dick. Maybe a bad day.

heart drip!
I went in just to get off the rain and man was it a good idea! The coffee was delicious and you could see the barista was really conscious of everyone’s order. There wasn’t much on the menu (food wise) but everything looked delicious and tempting. I had this onion cheesy bread that was fenomenal and a latte with oat milk. 10/10 on both. The place was nice, kind of the entrance to a building so a couple of people going in and out, but there were big tables with outlets if you’re looking for somewhere to work in.
Worst matcha latte in NYC. It was actually yellow - could not believe my eyes when I got my drink.
Save your $8 and buy matcha off Amazon lol
This place is exceptional on every level. I ordered a pour over and a flat white—both were perfect. The flavor, texture, and balance were spot on. You can tell they take coffee seriously here.
What truly sets this spot apart, though, are the people. Gio and Chris are incredibly knowledgeable, generous with their time, and genuinely kind. They offered great recommendations and answered all my questions without hesitation. Their passion for coffee and hospitality really shines through.
Will definitely make it a point to visit here anytime I’m in NY!
Finally stopped by this location and always no doubt with their coffee. Still a to-go spot, it’s inside the building.
Iced Americano using guest espresso was amazzzinggg.. nothing to complain. This coffee bean was refreshing, fruity, and lovely. No milk needed.
