Sheriff the best guide ever I love the drinks !!! Prague the best city in the world that is not New York!!

Cozy Indian restaurant on the upper east side. For an Indian restaurant it has quite a limited food menu, whereas the drink menu is quite extensive. I guess it is called the Drunken Monkey for a reason. The food was quite good but lacked somewhat in heat and depth of flavor. The service was outstanding.

Best Indian food we’ve had in the US. Very tasty. Recommend sheek kebab, lamb rogan josh, butter chicken masala. Portions are healthy with rice and naan included. Highly recommend!!

What a place to visit. This is now #1 on the recommendation list whenever anyone asks where to go in New York. Arun is a scholar and a gent; the service was impeccable, the food divine and the cocktails were like something from the Tom Cruise movie (cocktail if you’re wondering). We went for the recommendations all the way and they were exceptional; Samosas and chilli cheese toast to start; shrimp and butter tikka masala for main and the rum bomb to finish… all without doubt some of the best food we have had in New York. What’s more amazing; Arun and his team made my wife (on her 40th birthday) feel amazing - without preparation or warning. There was nothing that was too much and the little touches were everywhere! Thank you so much - on future trips The Drunken Munkey is a must visit; we arrived as strangers and leave as friends…

Cozy bar and restaurant with great Indian food. I was solo but still got a good table and excellent service. Good beer and wine selection. I had the chicken tikka masala and it was really good.

The staff very friendly. The food was amazing. All we ordered tasted great and personally I think the rest offers fantastic value for money and awesome experience to taste Indian food.

The Drunken Munkey (yes, they meant to spell it that way) provides excellent and innovative Indian cuisine in a small restaurant space. We started with traditional chicken samosas, lamb kebabs & potato dumplings as appetizers; all were good. Our entrees were also good, I had the lamb biryani that came is a bowl with the naan bread accompaniment baked into the top layer as a crust; very innovative. Overall a very nice meal.

I ordered food for delivery. It was relatively quick to arrive but it’s pretty hard to eat a curry without any cutlery. I’m out $30 and I’m still hungry. Epic fail.
