Unacceptable Treatment at Dudley’s
We came in for a quick bite before a paint class, fully expecting a wait on a busy Saturday. What I didn’t expect was the hostess, Shea(?), blatantly ignoring me while checking in younger, trendier girls who arrived after we did. When I finally spoke up, she responded with a snobbish tone — and then rolled her eyes to the group behind me as I walked away.
As someone who spent years as a corporate HR executive in the hospitality industry, I can say confidently: this is not how you treat guests. Gray hair doesn’t make me invisible, and it certainly doesn’t justify dismissive behavior.
I was so put off I left without eating.
Dudley’s may not lose sleep over this, but I won’t be back.

Everything is a little bit salty- but other than that, it will be my favorite place in the neighborhood..

Cute spot in the lower east side . The salad was delicious and the espresso martini was perfection. Our waiter was delightful.

Had such a great brunch experience here! The egg sandwich was delicious, but what really made it special was our server, Haley. She was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome the whole time! Definitely coming back again

The place was recommended for its pancakes but honestly they were average, banana bread was pretty good but all else was average. Worth the visit if you are around and there are no waiting times, otherwise dont worth going all the way to the area

I've heard so much about this place from different people so had to try it. It's a popular place so the wait for a table took 30-45 minutes. The food was ok, the service staff was great.

I really enjoyed eating here! The food was delicious and freshly made, and the service was excellent. My order came out quickly, which was a nice surprise. The ricotta pancakes were the best ones I’ve had, soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. Definitely recommend this place!

I got food poisoning from the chicken roll, roommate got food poisoning from the crispy rice bowl with chicken. I called the restaurant to let them know so that they could fix it and it wouldn’t happen to anyone else but the lady on the other end was questioning me as if I was lying and wasn’t in front of my toilet for hours projectile vommiting. 0/10 would not rec, I’ve had pretty much everything on their menu and the food is so bland and clearly made me and my roommate so sick. Our waitress was super sweet though!
