I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your store on August 17, 2024, around 8:00 AM.(penn station nyc dunkin)

During my visit, I ordered a Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwich. Since this was my first time at Dunkin’( usually I ordered donuts and coffee only), I was unfamiliar with the menu. My bill included two separate entries: one for Bacon, Egg & Cheese and another for Bacon. I initially misunderstood this and thought the additional bacon was a separate item.

When I inquired about this discrepancy with the employee who prepared my order, he made another Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwich, which I did not request. I tried to explain that I was only seeking clarification about the additional bacon entry on my bill. Unfortunately, the employee, who was a lean Black individual, became loud and confrontational, publicly criticizing me for what he perceived as an error on my part.

While I understand that misunderstandings can occur, the employee’s response was both unnecessary and disrespectful. It would have been more appropriate for him to address my concern calmly and professionally, without raising his voice or making assumptions.

I urge you to review this incident and consider appropriate training for your staff to ensure they handle customer inquiries with patience and professionalism. Such behavior reflects poorly on your establishment and detracts from the quality of service Dunkin’ aims to provide.

Chavanté was a great employee & brightened my day. I was annoyed that the establishment had no tip jar. Employees should be compensated. 5 stars for service & food, 0 stars for stupid company policy regarding tip jars.

So I’ve been trying to leave a review for the Dunkin located in Penn Station next door to the Walgreens which is across from the NJT waiting area. This Dunkin location is my FAVORITE!. I’ll travel all the way from Queens, NY or East Orange, NJ for there coffee. But most importantly the customer service ; it’s exceptional! Mamadou ALWAYS has my ice coffee ready to go for my morning commute. He’s so self efficient it’s always puts a smile on my face. He really looks out for loyal customers. Crystal M. has a sweet warming personality! And extremely accommodating. She will make your ice coffee, latte or hot coffee and give you a sample just to make sure it’s to your desire taste. Shamin is nice but firm but he gets the job done! Take his job serious with a passion. I just hope I spelled his name correctly lol. Love love love this location! They definitely deserve the recognition ❤️

Nino, the Dunkin manager/attendant decided to deny my meal after i had an apprpved credit card transaction. MTA police arrived and Mehtaab tried to diffuse the situation while the store manage tried to be impolite and disrespectful. Would stay away unless you want to have to speak to your credit card provider. See receipt for proof and note i was denied the coffee and donut I ordered
