I like how they make the kimbap on the spot. Albeit, a little pricey, but what can you do.

Very nice place. The Mild Tuna Kimbap was delicious. I can eat Kimbap everyday. Friendly employees and peaceful space. ☺️ for me 100/10⭐️

The food was amazing. I 100% recommend the Bulgogi Bibimbap. The service was good. They always made sure we had water and asked us if we needed anything else. Extremely friendly. I loved the atmosphere, not too loud and the place was cute. I hope to come back again soon!!

Cash only, fresh and made to order. Quick bite, got the spicy chicken which packs a punch if you're looking for that.

A little mom-and-pop spot tucked away in K Town, known for their gimbaps! It's on the pricier side but the food is very fresh and made to order. The spicy crab and eel is my go to!

FYI - it's cash only!

Hole in the wall with two vegan options. The kimbap is very mediocre but it’s cheap, fast, convenient, and healthier than most fast foods. Cash only.

Will visit again if and only if I feel dying for gimbab again. Food is what you can expect from gimbab if you know gimbab. But the PRICE........made my jaw drop and it is the reason for 3 stars. We'll, it in the most pricey area in the prices city of the world.

Great spot for kimbab in ktown. Made quickly and fresh to order. The gentleman that was there was very kind. I got Bulgogi, veggie, and spicy tuna. All rolls were delicious and relatively large serving size. This is a hole in the wall without any sitting area. Also this place is CASH ONLY. Will be back to order more kimbab from this place.

This is a tiny takeout place (no seats inside) located in the middle of NYC's Koreatown, an enclave centering around 32nd street between B'way and Madison. There are loads of Korean restaurants in this area, including two of NYC's best vegan restaurants: Hangawai and (a few blocks away on 34 and Park) Franchia. The only dish that E-Mo offers is Kimbop; three of the Kimbops they offer are vegan. A vegan Kimbop is sort of like a vegan sushi: rice and veggies in a seaweed roll. I got a veggie Kimbop and took it to a nearby park to eat. It was fine for a quick bite--but not really a full meal.

Ordered 2 rolls. 1 fell apart and all broken. I ordered crab kimbap, not daikon(단무지) kimbap.

E-MO definitely has some of the better gimbap you’ll find in ny. It’s a little hole in the wall spot and they have tons of options. My go to gimbap are the 매은 참치 and 장어. It is takeout only so the staff usually are able to get you your food pretty quickly. They’re also super friendly and patient, i’ve ordered in korean basically every time I go and they’re really cool about it. The only downside with E-MO is that it’s a bit pricey for gimbap but if you don’t mind spending the extra money i’d say go for it.
