Reviewers mention that this place feels like the old New York City. I wasn't around in those days, but stopping through Manhattan I rolled around Hudson Square for a bite to eat and a cold beer and this place spoke to me. This is a very historically-significant bar; I recommend reading about it. The area is very quiet for Manhattan, and this space offers a cozy bar with food options and plenty of outdoor seating.

The best place for a cocktail and conversation! Jazz on Sundays. And when you don't want to cook you can get a perfect no fuss meal. A neighborhood staple. We sit outside all the time. The best!
