The beef in our chopped cheese was rotten (corroborated by my boyfriend as well). We took one bite and had to throw it away. We called twice to tell the deli very nicely that their beef was spoiled but both times they hung up on me. Health hazard.

Great menu, delicious food, and fast friendly service at a good price. I ordered from Avenue A every weekend most of the time I lived in east village and consistently received excellent food. I now live in the upper east side and miss this place desperately since I can't find anywhere for a decent breakfast delivery. Can't recommend highly enough.

Very friendly people and a wide selection of food and drinks. Large selection of craft beers too for all of your beer runs. However, yesterday I ordered a panini (the buffalo chicken one), when I ate it it seemed a little off, but I thought I was being picky and got over it. But last night I woke up abruptly to an upset stomach and ultimately had to run to the bathroom to puke. My boyfriend enjoyed his monte cristo panini and had no stomach issues. We hadn't eaten anything else for a while so I'm assuming my sandwich was just made with an ingredient that should've been thrown out or stored properly. I feel bad for sharing this but things like food borne illnesses are serious so I hope this is seen by management.
