Super cute eatery with drinks and desserts to match. Everything on the menu looks and sounds good. Need to make a few more trips! The pretty hot chocolate, red velvet loaf and cookie were DELICIOUS!

The CUTEST little place ever! The decor was so homey and staff were super nice.
I got an iced matcha latte with almond milk, it was a bit pricey, but pretty good. They made it so quickly and even though the place itself is small, it has a great vibe.

I ordered a latte and le parmigiana! Latte was fine but Le parmigiana… the worst food I have ever tried. And it costs $15 smth dollars! I would not pay a $1 if I knew how bad that would be. The lettuce inside was spoiled, almost no cheese and prosciutto tasted disgusting 🤮 I wish I could have time to come back and give it back. Such a waste!

Love going here when I visit NYC & UES. The coffee is excellent, latte. I get the BLT with scrambled egg on Everything Bagel. The staff are generous with their time & understanding. Service is prompt and the customers are accommodating.

The food was very good and at a good price, however when we saw the place on Instagram it had a better setting for photos and the place itself did not have anything striking when we arrived, then in terms of service they moved us from the place where we were sitting and they never closed the door of the basement, it can be understood but if you want better advertising or recommendation you have to improve those details

As a reviewer, I’m always on the lookout for those charming little spots that feel like a secret hideaway, and Eat Pretty on 83rd Street is exactly that. I’m telling everybody—83rd Street is hiding a big secret with this cute little cafe. If you’re looking to get away for a bit, enjoy a cup of coffee, and have a delicious breakfast, this is the place for you.
I decided to try the Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs from the breakfast menu, and it was a delightful choice. The avocado was perfectly ripe, spread generously on a slice of crispy, hearty bread, and topped with two beautifully poached eggs. The eggs were cooked just right, with the yolks oozing over the avocado, adding a rich creaminess to every bite. The seasoning was simple but effective, letting the fresh ingredients shine through. It’s a breakfast that feels both indulgent and healthy, making it the perfect way to start your day.
The atmosphere at Eat Pretty is cozy and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to linger. The decor is charming and adds to the overall warmth of the place. Whether you’re here for a quick coffee or a leisurely breakfast, you’ll feel right at home.
If I had to mention a minimal complaint, it would be that the seating is a bit limited, so you might have to wait during peak hours. But honestly, the quality of the food and the ambiance more than make up for it.
Overall, Eat Pretty is a wonderful little spot that deserves more attention. It’s a hidden gem on 83rd Street, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful meal or just escape with a great cup of coffee.

Food was really good but two bagels took 20+ minutes to make and one of them was made incorrectly. This place would be 5/5 if the service was better

Get spot for coffee and food. I go every Saturday
I love this place! Amazing and creative cookies! Better than any of the other cookie shops in the neighborhood in my opinion. Also the Cafe is casual but has some nice breakfast and brunch options that are very nice to enjoy on the cute tables they have out front.
The vegan options are: Plant based milks for coffees & teas, homemade fruit drinks including watermelon, hibiscus, pineapple and lemonade, veggie signature bagel, veggie taco, guacamole and chips and salads. There are more options that are vegetarian. There are neither vegan pastries nor indoor seating. Updated from previous review on 2024-05-29
