Overpriced tourist trap. Didn't bring out our salad we ordered and forgot the truffles for the pasta dish. Wouldn't go back
Overall the food was mediocre and the service was mixed. Our drinks took a very long time to come to the table and each time a server brought out the wrong dish - it was always for a different table - for the price I'd say skip the entrees and stick with the pizza -
The food was excellent. It's in a market-type environment, so it's hard to give it any real ambiance. It's very loud.
Brilliant experience! Excellent food and great ambience. We travelled all the way from Australia to go to Eataly & it was well worth it!
Eataly as a whole is an experience that any food lover should experience at least once in their life. The food at La Pizza & La Pasta was overall good( I'd give it a 7.5/8). I was a bit perturbed that warm bread, oil/ vinegar wasn't served prior to receiving the antipasti. Also, I had to send my drink back because there was something in it. But the atmosphere was lovely and lively. I would go back and let my family experience it.
I'm not sure what I expected but this wasn't the experience I was looking for. I've been to Eataly for a private party and loved it, but the restaurant food and ambiance was underwhelming.
We like to come here whenever we are in NYC. The food is good and the atmosphere is lively. Always a nice dinner after a day of sight seeing.
This was the best dinner we had in New York, not just for the food, but also for the outstanding service and amazing new wine we were introduced to. Wish we could go back!
Loud but great food and a nice prefix menu. Give yourself some time to get there since Eataly is crowded.
I wish we even got to dine here. We came to EATALY and LA PIZZA & LA PASTA on October 21st, 2025 for a school trip. We drove an hour and 20 minutes looking forward to your restaurant. Somehow the restaurant was WAY over booked and could not accommodate us. The kids were looking forward to your menu but was told we could not have anything from your menu. There were kids with food allergies etc. I am not sure if OPEN TABLE is to blame, or your restaurant, but it was extremely disappointing since we brought about 200 people there. Half, if not more, who booked your restaurant were not able to have their reservations. Really sad for my kids who take Italian in school and were looking forward to an amazing trip.

Always love coming here, every time I fly up from Texas I make it a point to come here. It's a must for my husband and me. Service is always on point and they are VERY ATTENTIVE to our needs.
Had a great evening. Not rushed, well paced meal. Offerings were interesting and tasty. Plenty of conversation.
This is overpriced mediocre food. Servers are inattentive, the ragu in the ragu and mushroom pasta is undetectable. Also, you will be dining with numerous large and little flies. You can get far better authentic Italian food other places. This is a tourist trap, and for those that don't know better.
waited 30 mins to order because nobody was serving us and had to wait 20 mins for the check which i also had to ask for : i had to ASK to order and to get the check. wasted 2 hours here because nobody cared to check on us or serve us
