I’ve dealt several times with Magda. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about her wines and will make the best recommendation for the most delicious wines for all occasions. I highly recommend her!

Eataly wine store is Flatiron’s best secret. I go here for excellent quality wine, trained staff, and engaging tastings ( see calendar).

There’s a lot of heart in this store and the prices are spectacular. Whenever I’m giving a gift, I go here because of the selection and the prices :)

If you’re looking for a specific sommelier, I recommend Magda. She speaks Italian and is incredibly knowledgeable about her wines.

Grazie Eataly!

We visited this week and the pizza was mouldy. Unable to post a photo on here.

Very nice selection of Piemonte wines. Admittedly I'm addicted to nebbiolos...

Amazing place with so much to offer. Many foods and wines.

Very disappointing. Have bought there several times before. Walked in and asked for a recommendation and the lady behind the counter looked confused and said no. Did not even suggest another staff member. Seemed surprised to be asked to provide service. Assume it was someone doing unskilled holiday cover but a disappointing experience. The reason for not being a one star review is that the range is still adequate.

I am writing to share my recent experience at your Eataly Vino Flatiron location, where I regularly shop to purchase my favorite wine, Gaja Barbaresco. I have always appreciated the selection and service in the past, but unfortunately, my last visit left me extremely disappointed.
During my visit, I interacted with a staff member whose name I believe started with “D”—possibly Diamond which she is not. Her demeanor was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She made inappropriate comments about my accent, which left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Such behavior is unacceptable and completely contrary to the exceptional service I’ve experienced in Italy and even at Eataly in the past.
Moreover, this staff member seemed to lack basic wine knowledge and was unable to assist me when I inquired about the specific wines. Which is when her negative comments due to her lack of wine experience ensued. Her attitude was dismissive and condescending, which further soured the experience. When she couldn’t help me I was also disheartened to observe her speaking unkindly to other employees, which reflected poorly on the work environment.
In the past, I was assisted by employees such as Erin and Madison, who were always knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The difference in service is stark, and it is upsetting to see such a decline in quality.
If not for the difficulty of finding my favorite Italian wines in the neighborhood, I would not consider returning. I hope Eataly will address this issue seriously, as it is not reflective of the brand’s reputation or values.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust you will take appropriate action to ensure this does not happen again. I feel giving the store one star is unfair so I will give it two instead.

Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.

I rather like this wine & spirits store, though it's rather pricey for regular frequent purchases! Here's a selection of casual yet serious offerings for me to enjoy in moderation over the course of this evening.

Well. Mixed here. Had some amazing gelato but also got a very overpriced cannoli that was meh. This place is heavy on atmosphere and I loved tooling around here. But the prices seemed more in line with a tourist trap than a classic deli.
