Egg shop was really good. The Chai French Toast was really nice and the jelly that came with it was really nice. The Smoked salmon Benedict was also pretty good. The service was good as well.

Good place for brunch with the friends! My friend made a reservation for the 4 of us a week before and thankfully we did - it's a relatively small restaurant with limited seating. I got the Turkish eggs and it was good, although I would recommend ordering a bit more if you're coming for lunch.

The menu is tempting! Well written descriptions lured me in to two picks! My friend ordered one and I got the other: spandex and the Turkish. Both were savory and delicious. Our server was helpful and always present; yet didn't hover. I'll be back

I pre-ordered. It was about to rain. No one was sitting there and place only had 3 tables occupied. I asked if I can eat my sandwich at the counter. The woman behind the counter said no. I would have tipped...All the components of the sandwich were good but prob should have gotten a brioche. The roll was too hard and too big for the sandwich.Hash Browns had no seasoning.

This restaurant is truly the size of someone's living room but that sure doesn't stop people from coming. When I came for brunch on a Sunday with my friend, the restaurant was packed and some people were even eating outside on a cold day. Fortunately a space at the counter tables cleared up quickly and were seated. As you may have guessed from the name, the restaurant specializes in brunch dishes (eggs primarily, but they do have some sweet items which are not on their online menu). I ordered the scrambler, a mushroom egg scramble with a side of sourdough bread. My friend ordered the carnitas chilaquiles, which our server recommended. I thought my scramble was good- I substituted egg whites and did no corn. It could just be that it's hard to impress with eggs (there's only so much you can do to make them different), but it wasn't a meal I'd go running to have again. I think my friend felt similarly about her chilaquiles. Overall, the service was good (and quick, despite the restaurant being full). I will say that this is probably not the place to have a catch up with an old friend. About 20 minutes after we were seated and looking at the menu, the waiter told us (gently) that we needed to order soon. It is a small place so it's understandable, but we did feel a little rushed.

Had a little hiccup with the computer putting in our order. Something I don’t think happens often, so the wait for food was long, but the waiter made up for it with a great personality and giving us coffee and hash browns. Food was great, really enjoyed a weekday

Not impressed. I get it. Eggs are supposed to be the star here, and they are, but unfortunately the rest of the dishes fade to black whereas this one takes all the credit and therefore taking the dish down with it. The breakfast burrito, while a nice portion, and satisfying to read on the menu, was not a satisfying experience. The eggs are fluffy, but everything else was bland or simply hot. It felt like I was eating this at a Taco Bell cantina disguised as a Manhattan brunch spot. I also decided to try the French Toast. Very small, expensive, and this time, the almonds are overdone on it. The strawberry jam was good, but otherwise be ready to be finished with it in three bites. You are going to want to order something else with it. The orange juice I had was incredibly small and a total ripoff. A metaphor for the whole experience altogether.

Every year my daughter and I make a trip to NYC and we always make time for breakfast at the Egg Shop in Nolita. The food is outstanding, the service is great, and the atmosphere is funky. We love it so much that, after our last meal there, we went and got tattoos of the little egg that's on the napkins. It's a cute reminder of our "girls trips."See you next year!
