Oh Man! ...what a refreshing Sunday afternoon at El Coco. I was pleased with my first visit. To start, the drinks were a setup to make it an auto revisit situation. The taco selection was great, and of course, I had a few different ones to see what they were working with; nice flavor. Read lots of good reviews. The restaurant is nice, but everything was very average. The Margarita was small and served in a plastic glass, while my husband's drink came in a real cocktail glass. The fajitas came out sizzling and were tasty, but nothing sepcial. The price is moderate. Not bad, not great, but reasonable and very close to the Beacon Theater where we were going to see a concert.
This restaurant was adequate. Nothing memorable but not horrible. Service was decent but restaurant was mostly empty. Only real complaint was that there were no menus -- I thought we were done with QR codes as it brings back no so fond memories. Food was fine and prices were not bad. Would I come back? Probably not as there are better options in the neighborhood.
