1st time today 3/17/24.The carnitas a la Maochacan dish was stale and hashed, not cube carnitas. It tasted like a day old and greasy. The rice was not fresh and reheated and the beans were lackluster, to say the least. That plate cost me 25 dollars plus. The restaurant is relatively small but dowdy...NOT CLEAN enough. A very dark and dreary-looking atmosphere. I will never go back.

We went for Happy hour after work and they had beer bottles for $5, great deal until 6PM.We ordered GUACAMOLE CHIPS that came with a lot of chips but not as much guacamole. The flavor of the guac was just okay, a bit tasteless. We also got the QUESADILLA HUITLACOCHE (or corn smut) which was good, a bit salty for my taste. I liked the TECATE BEER!I have been a few times at EL PASO TAQUERIA and honestly I'm a bit dissapointed on the flavor of the food. However, the restaurant is clean, the staff is nice, drinks are cheap, and they have a large variety of options on the menu.SPANISH:We went for Happy hour after work and they had bottles of beer for $5, a good discount until 6PM.We ordered the NACHOS CON GUACAMOLE which came with plenty of nachos but not as much guacamole. The guacamole tasted decent, without much flavor. We also tried the QUESADILLA HUITLACOCHE (a corn mushroom) which was good, a little salty for my taste. I liked the TECATE BEER.I have been to EL PASO TAQUERIA several times and honestly, I am a little disappointed with the taste of the food. However, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, the drinks are cheap and they have a variety of options on the menu.

Great little Mexican place with a wide menu. I got the Chicken Enchiladas and a Traditional Margarita. The server was exceptionally attentive-- I have very rarely had better service at a restaurant. One of my friends forgot her to go box and he came outside after us to ensure she got it. would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Service was FANTASTIC! I can't emphasize enough! Food was great, as well, but the service is why I'd give this place 5 stars. Cute little place. Very comfy and cozy!

Crazy good Taco Tuesday Night Deal! The special is two tacos and a margarita for $15. When most restaurants in the city charge $15 for a Margarita alone, this is a snag. I would recommend either getting an empanada or another taco since the 2 tacos alone didn’t fill me. I got the house marg, two chorizo tacos, and a beef empanada and would order all of them again!

Went here for dinner. Nice atmosphere, authentic and good service. Got the Enchiladas which were delicious. The person I went with got the Fish Tacos which they said were also great. A great Mexican place to eat at if you’re in Manhattan!Vegetarian options: Meat-less options
