Cozy and sweet place. You might consider a reservation. Prices were pretty reasonable. Food was good. Cod with spinach and Manchego was really good. Order a side of rice though as it is rich and comes just as stated--fish, greens, creamy cheese sauce. More saucy as fish is shredded. Garlic shrimp yummy. chicken Milanese, boring.
Come here ever time I come to NYC to see the Mets play. The seafood paella is my favorite. The waiters are kind enough to allow me to practice my bad Spanish with them. But remember, this is a Spanish restaurant. Not Mexican.
Three of us for dinner and we all had different dishes. Excellent. I had a great paella Valencia large enough for two, a delicious gazpacho and a taste of the squid in its own ink. Tasted the excellent mariscada as well. Service was very good and attentive. A foodie's place a bit off the beaten path. And its fair prices make it just about perfect. Ambience good but not quite romantic.
