A great spot, lovely room. Authentic food. Great wine list. Service is classically New York as you would expect. We love it here
Decadence
This spot has earned my complete admiration. The restaurant fits the area perfectly. Their staff accomplishes tasks quickly while being polite. Each item delivers on taste. I identified this delightful spot through online reviews.

Attention patrons!
This restaurant is a rip off joint.
The food is disgusting and tiny portions.
We order the paella and it nothing to do with paella....
even sangria wasn't sangria..
This restaurant used to be a great Spanish restaurant for many many decades. Now they are a new owners and they kept the old name.
we will never come again....

I struggled with sharing this restaurant recommendation. This place has a central address. You should experience their most iconic offerings. Their team demonstrates knowledge alongside considerate treatment. Wholly delighted.

The white sangria is a summer favorite. Al and Sadie took great care of us and it was a lovely time.

Food - only had chips and quac but let me tell u it was amazing and one of the best ones we ever had
Drinks - the drinks were very good. I started off with the sea salt foam specialty margarita which screams fun to me, but the Drink lacked something. I think it just wasn’t strong enough and I drink it too fast however we ordered the picture of classic next and it was perfect. It tasted great it last a long time and it was the right amount of alcohol
Atmosphere- we were going to eat in little Italy, but decided to eat here instead, which is right outside. It’s perfect. It is a cute space. Great seating everywhere. Great indoor outdoor space w/ lots of sunlight. The interior is well designed as well.
Overall, had a good time here and I would go back for more margaritas and maybe try some food

Came in here after work to escape the heat. Sat at the bar and had one of the best dirty martinis in NYC! Chilled to perfection and made exactly how I like it. Got to chatting with Will the bartender and loved learning about the the history and character of the bar and the attached hotel. Made the whole atmosphere even more enjoyable. Ordered oysters that went perfectly with my martinis and I cant stop thinking about the potato bravas-- a must! Will be back with friends next time!

Restaurantji Recommends
Food and drinks were very good, but unreasonably pricey. For example, the small plate of Iberico ham was $50 and the seafood and meat paella, which did not have that much seafood and meat, was $80. Those dishes were tasty, as were the pan con tomate, tortilla, and potatas bravas.

Very good Spanish food served with a smile. The Gambas al Ajillo, Paella, and both the Red and White Sangria are excellent.

Food was extremely over priced. 42 dollars for rice and tomato meal. 9 dollars a soda and second soda...no refill... was 9 dollars again.. So 200 dollars later we had an iffy meal that was nothing to write home about. Prices were as if they were deserving and the food was just edible and average. Second meal was pork and spanish beer. Soooooo disappointing. Cool that they were by the original Chelsea hotel but really need to step up. So so food at outrageously overvalued prices. Never again. Way better venues at way better values. Shame!

The wait staff was very nice and professional. I had the chef's special grilled pork with potatoes and dessert the rice pudding. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend this place. Make sure to make a reservation.
