I am the father of the eldest daughter of Marbella, the daughter of the person who owned that place, my name is Hector Cajigas, I recommend you eat here, it is super quiet and the staff is humble. Looking for my daughter?

I called on Saturday to get 10 mofongos for my family and visitors but I’m glad I asked the price. $18 for a cheese mofongo???? Really. Are they crazy? I know prices are high, gas prices are on the roof but 2 green plantains with cheese is that pricy.?I went to a different place and they charge us half.

i’ve never seen another restaurant blatantly send you reheated nasty food, so late the way caridad does. and they’re rude on top of that

Pass the place all the time on my way to the Post Office and finally stopped in. Met Ray who took over in May and he was the nicest guy. Seems to have done a great job turning the place around compared to previous reviews. Food/service was great and very friendly. Give this place a shout if you’re in the area!

The food was amazing! Chicken was nice and juicy, everything was filling, and the workers are super great! I ordered through Uber eats and had issues with Uber. The manager ray helped me out big time! I’m making sure I got my food. Him and his worker who I did not get her name, but she was so helpful over the phone. During hard times with the virus this was one of the few locals opened and even though my Uber service was trash he made sure I got my food in one piece. I really appreciate this place and people like this who help during tough times. My four year old is a picky eater and ate it all that’s how I know the food is also great!

They are racist and very rude. I was unhappy with my order and requested a refund. The women grabbed weapons banging them on the counter attempting to scare me off. They spoke about me in Spanish to other customers who arrived during this altercation. I eventually got my money back after they threatened to call police on me. I do not recommend

I give this restaurant a 1 star because l ask the employee to use the bathroom and she said it's out of service when in the New York State oath a bathroom can never be out service. I don't recommend for anyone because employees don't wash their hands to touch food this restaurant is dirty.

Ok. I should have checked the reviews before going. But hey, we sometimes gamble in desperate situations. I rode the train and the bus with coughing sniffling sickly people, so I knew the first thing I needed to get when I got to the neighborhood by my job would be chicken soup/sancocho. Looking around I only saw fast food chains, pizza joints, and coffee places. Then across the street I saw a tiny red awning that said La Caridad, so I went over and went inside. The vibe is more of a small bar with a lunch counter. There was a small drunk man with a beer, a man who had obviously just finished eating with an empty plate, and a lady who came in with me who was sitting down to order a meal, and obvious regular. Note: Speaking Spanish is very helpful. My accent won me a free order The bartender greeted me warmly and asked me what I'd like to order. The small drunk man insisted on paying for my soup and told me to get a coffee. After the constant insistence, I agreed. The bartender said "hey let him pay for it, it's all good". So I tipped her and went about my way with my soup. Now it is not a restaurant by any means it is a small hole in the wall that serves alcohol and a little bit of food not the cleanest definitely not the fanciest but the soup was okay. It did its job.
