Wow, how is this place still in business. The food had 0 taste. I ordered the tilapia, rice, beans and sweet plantains. I got fries instead of the plantains and when I pointed that out the gentleman behind the counter he started arguing that I never said I wanted plantains. I wish that was the worst part of my experience here but unfortunately it was the food...possibly the worst lunch I have had in a while...nothing had flavor! And I mean nothing!! I loaded it with salt and asked for extra lime to squeeze over the food, that helped a little. Save your money DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! I looked at some of the reviews, unfortunately after I ate here, and I belive it most be family members leaving good reviews...dont believe those reviews, this place really sucks!

The worst customer service ever experienced. I placed my order via GrubHub at 11:13am. I received a email from GrubHub stating that my order was confirmed. I called the restaurant three times [1pm, 1:20pm and 1:30pm]. The woman on the other line informed me that my order ha left after I gave her my address each time I called. I called again at 2pm and informed the woman that I had not received my order and she informed me that they are having issues with GrubHub and never received my order. After three times that I call, you NOW realize that you never received my order even though I received a confirmation email with a delivery time and the other woman indicated that my order had left already. How is that possible???? Never ordering from them again!!

This place is amazing! It's a small place and there's a menu for each day. I literally don't ever write reviews but I had to for this place. I've been coming here for the last few weeks (since I work around the corner) and have been exploring the menu. So far I haven't been disappointed. I am so picky with Ecuadorian food (being that I'm Ecuadorian) but this place hits the nail on the head. It's on the 4th floor, but it's worth the walk up. Will continue to go here and probably gain so much weight!!

The place was clean and the portions were generous. The Chaulafan was really good with the hot sauce which I believe is based on "tomate de arbol" the traditional ecuadorian "aji". The lady is from Cuenca and does well with Sierra food. The ceviche was good but a bit too much ketchup for my taste which made it kind of sweet. There's an ecuadorian food truck (owners are from Guayaquil) that do a better job on the ceviche. Still, not a bad ceviche!

excellent food, great customer service, I recommend GiGis plate awoseme..
Is a good sport to eat Ecuadorian food. Don't expect anything fancy. Food is good. Service is good. The only downside is their plastic disposable forks, spoons and knifes.

Nothing to write home about. The prices are good for the location .... But you have to climb 4 steep flights to get there.

Heard great things about this restaurant but never got to try their food. My friend called to place a delivery order to our office (40 and 41th street) and we was told that this would take up to 2 HOURS WAIT TIME. "Why" she asked? "Because you only want 3 plates rather that 5-8 meals" was the reply! Zero star for customer service.

I work close by and I was craving ceviche this morning. Let's just say don't order the ceviche I wasted 15$. They cooked the fish then threw it in the lemon juice. Also the lemon juice taste like they used lemon juice from the bottle. Very disappointing
I've been there years ago and I loved it.
