Very (very) humble counter-serviced lunch spot inside an industrial space. Small menu of bland Mexican / central American food. Very (very) humble dine-in setup with folding chairs and disposable knives that are too flimsy to cut with. For the price, it's gotta be Margon over El Sabroso ten times out of ten. However, for the novelty, or out of sheer necessity, this is a serviceable lunch spot. It's unfortunate for everyone that a chicken leg with rice and beans costs as much as four pieces of decent pizza.

Worst food that’s not Ecuadorian Food tastes terribleThat food is terrible, it looks like dog food, the stewed meat is cooked meat and on top of that they threw a can of terrible tomato paste and it's not cheap, $15 a plate

Not a bad place for a cheap lunch if you are in the mood for Latin food. The place is literally inside a loading dock so you will see guys walking around pushing hand trucks. The place has daily specials that include chicken, pork and beef with rice and beans. If my pockets are jingling and not crinkling, this is the spot on limited budget.

Those hole-in-the-wall places know what they're doing. Ordered the chicken stew and the pernil. Both very good. My child devoured the chicken stew and left me next to nothing (sniffles). The pernil was flavorful and moist. The service is great as well. Would come back.

Really tasty chicken leg, rice, beans, and salad. Simple. But wow today’s price for chicken stew is whopping $12.

The staff are friendly and gracious, the food is fresh and delicious! The location is rustic but they spruce it up with lovely Latin music to create a nice vibe.

Nice service and low prices, however, food is a bit boring and I got some dry rice chunks that had warmed too long at the bottom of the pot.

Delicious, authentic Ecuadorian food. The staff was super kind and encouraged me to practice my Spanish while there. Try the Aji hot sauce! It's delicious and spicy!

This is one of my favorite hidden secrets in NYC! Tucked in a loading bay for a building, the owners prepare delicious Ecuadorian food at unbeatable prices. The food is all prepared same day so the place smells fantastic. They give huge portions, and sometimes they throw in a fresh fried plantain for regulars! Their hot sauce is NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. If you talk to Tony, the owner, in advance sometimes you can buy a bottle, but it's free when you put it on the food you ordered and also made fresh daily. It's the best deal in midtown. (Owned and operated by a great family who always remember me whenever I come in for lunch. This place is lunch only- come early because they sell out fast!
