Absolute awful service

Ordered chicken quesdilla. It was not completely prepared. Chicken and other fillings were rolled inside Tortilla which wasn't further toasted and split.

This is a nice restaurant nestled close to the world trade center memorial site. Its very spacious and has some cool decorations on the wall. They have large plate kids meals. We got the cheese quesidillas and the kids nachos. They devoured it. The side of rice and beans were not too spicy for the kids. And they loved the fruit as well. I got the adult nachos. They are served on a plate with ample toppings. We also got the chicken enchiladas. Those were bathed in a mole type of sauce. It definitely needed hot sauce. It took a while to get a server to come back with the hot sauce but it was worth it. They had an orange one that was milder and a red one that was much more spicy. It was filling and good. Prices were fair for NYC.

Prob the worst meal I’ve ever had in NYC. Went to bar, had beers and ordered to go. ‘Where’s the Meat’???? Lol
Order chicken enchiladas. First one I ate, didn’t seem to have any protein. Opened the second one up, had 2 small slivers of chicken. Had the empanadita’s as well. That was 95% dough, with chicken I had to put my readers on to see. Thank god I got the beans and rice as well, that’s my dinner. Super disappointing and I’d never, ever go back for food. The bartenders were great, btw! Great service. And it says burrito bar, didn’t see burritos on the menu! They should be forced to close. Complete disappointment!

I wanted so badly for this to be a great experience! I met up with my bestie for dinner before catching a movie nearby. I’ve worked in this area for years but hadn’t been back in a while, and I know restaurants around here tend to change often. We spotted the sign for this place and decided to give it a try.

The bar area was jumping definitely a happy hour crowd but we were seated right away, which was a plus. The dining area was much calmer and nicely laid out. I really liked that there was plenty of space between tables, so it didn’t feel crowded.

After reviewing the menu, we were both surprised by how limited it was. Most Mexican restaurants usually offer a wider variety of options, but we decided to go with the chicken enchiladas. They only came with two no sides, so we added a side of rice and beans.

The food came out quickly and was hot, which we appreciated. However, we both felt like the enchiladas were a bit light on the chicken and honestly, the flavor was pretty underwhelming. What a bummer, because I really thought we’d stumbled on a hidden gem.

We didn’t get drinks or appetizers since we were short on time, but I will say the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable for the area. I just wish the menu had more variety and the food packed a little more flavor.

We chose to rate them 3 stars because the restaurant was nice and the staff was pleasant. I wasn’t able to get a lot of pictures.

As a Dominican my standards for food are very high, and it was definitely met here-- I got the shrimp tacos and the cheese they use is just sooo good-- the plantain side is also so good I just wish they added more cheese lol!!! I think the manager of the place but he was so kind he took pictures of me and my friends as a favor and was really kind about it-- My one critique is I wish they had a little more music going on-- Its a Mexican food spot-- Spanish vibe lets not cater to the boring Americans and be more authentic.

The whole package here feels thoughtfully crafted. You'll need a container for the extra food you can't finish. Top score. They should continue their quality food preparation. I'm already thinking about my return visit.

Really good value, yummy Mexican food with lower than average drink prices in a mammoth space with slightly slow service.
