Bought pastries. Not a bad taste but I asked the salesperson if the items I asked for are fresh and he said yes. Unfortunately, everything was days old, definitely not fresh!!!!!!!!!!!! Disappointed.

As always, a delectable loaf of bread. This time followed by scrumptious butter cookies. Both making the train ride home very enjoyable. Thank you Eli!!!

The best, finest, freshest breads around! A great selection and a staff happy to assist in choosing just the right loaf. I never, ever go through Grand Central without buying some! And there are no bad choices!! Most of the time it never even makes it home from the train ride. I tend to snack on it all the way. This is a definite stop when in NYC!!!

Again and again the best, freshest bread available! I would never not stop in when passing through Grand Central Terminal!

Glad this is an option for those days I'm downtown early & don't want to try very hard for breakfast. Plenty of options tucked away in this (usually) busy midtown market hidden away within Grand Central Terminal.

I really love Eli's market on the UES. We recently got the scones here to serve for a coffee meeting and they were surprisingly good! However some items are more novelty, like the NYC cookies or the gift boxes. I would stick to freshly baked goods or dessert case pastries.

Review for bakery: I used to buy their baguette until le pain or kayser showed up. it's okay baguette for emergency now, but I like their scones, it's not too sweet, ( except sugar on top) not too dense, light and crumbles. Really like it.

Overpriced coffee. I paid $7 for what was essentially a whole a** cup of oat milk and a splash of espresso. Thats not an iced latte lol.

Eli's at Grand Central Market is a place I frequently visit. I'm not sure why I didn't do a review. I have old photos to post. I usually find something to enjoy after my lunch. The cookies are great. It's all the same bread and pastries as the shops in my neighborhood. This location is convenient for people who commute to and from the city. I find the customer service here is a little more pleasant than what I sometimes experience on the Upper East Side! It's been my experience that Eli's Grand Central employees are helpful and friendly.

Had a very dry and bland slice of the cinnamon Russian coffee cake. I wished it was more fresh. Not a good use of $6.

I love to cook and I found at Central market everything to do like a pro cheff. I want to buy all the products but I cant because when I return to my country maybe I will have problems with customs. I take with me some ciabatta bread, parmesan cheese and some species.

Try the challah French toast or bread pudding cup you won't regret it

Every week, I stop by here at least once. I either grab a chocolate or a ham&cheese croissant. So many choices, though! What a great place to get baked goods. Friendly staff, as well!
