Okay, here’s the deal—this isn’t MEANT to be priced like regular grocery prices. If you go into grand central market, I think it’s fair to say that—generally speaking—these are treat purchases for special occasions, like a fancy snack for your train ride or a fun dessert to bring home from your trip to NYC. Best baguette in all of NYC! I always get it when I'm in Manhattan and have never been disappointed, simply delicious ? Not necessarily cheap, but worth the price! And what else is cheap in New York? Almost nothing left
I was wandering around Grand Central Terminal looking for new foods to conquer. As I was looking at the unique pastries on display, a guy started talking to me about exotic fruit cakes! He saw me inquire kindly to the friendly cashier about the ingredients of the cakes. Upon consideration, he told me that if I were to try one of the fruit cakes, I will come back for more. After arriving home later that day, the flavor of the fruit cake changed my taste for fine dining forever....
