Old school Italian restaurant, classic spot on the upper east side. This spot is always busy for a reason, the food is excellent and consistent and the service is impeccable. You can sit at the bar, but there are very few seats, you need a reservation even on a quiet day…
Your basic old school New York Italian restaurant.
Food was great, especially the lasagna (a special). Not as many traditional choices as I would have thought.
Service was good, but a bit too eager to snatch plates and never brought more bread, even though we asked.

Old-school charm, flawless service—Elios nails classic Italian with Upper East polish.
We came for a celebratory dinner and left already planning our return. The room glows with vintage warmth—dim lighting, crisp white tablecloths, and the hum of regulars chatting with tuxedoed waiters. Our server greeted us like family, and the pacing of the meal was pitch-perfect.
Stand-out Highlights
