Got food poisoning from this restaurant, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!
The delivery driver harassed me at my front door to tip him more!! I have never felt so uncomfortable. Horrible experience, this place needs to be shut down!

Tl;dr: food poisoning and driver who demands more tip.
There is no way the positive reviews are real. They have a good review on Grubhub and it has to be bots or something. My partner got food poisoning and so I just checked the reviews here and it’s not the first time it’s happened. It looks like it happened to two others, looking at past reviews. Wish we would’ve checked here first.
And the man pestering for more tip right outside our door is so uncomfortable. Grubhub already pays delivery and we also did leave additional tip so it’s not like we left 0 for a short drive.

disappointed - two dishes were inedible as they were soaked with oil - we thought it might be a mistake when we opened the chicken/broccoli and clear oil just poured out -
could not eat any of the vegetables and literally tried wrapping the chicken in paper towels to soak the oil (we were so hungry) but just ended up throwing it out... fried rice was similar, just soaked in oil... the steamed dumplings and sesame chicken were good. hot and sour soup tasted burned (threw out as well)

Everything is so salty
Food was fine, but the delivery driver will bully you for a bigger tip and refuse to leave until you get aggressive with him. Unacceptable. Would never patronize this place again just for how uncomfortable the whole situation was

This place is awesome idk why it has such low ratings. General tsos and egg rolls are bomb, and utensils and condiments come in cute little Ziploc bags.

Ellie’s Chinese is better for takeout than dine in as the restaurant is a bit dark and cramped. The food is standard Chinese fare, with lunch specials starting just under $11 (tax included), one of the most affordable in the neighborhood. The mixed vegetable was tender-crispy but a little heavy on the garlic. The tofu with broccoli was ok.

Good portions and the lunch special is a great deal.
This is my go-to for Chinese food in the area.

The food is good but the delivery man will ABSOLUTELY pester you for a tip. He even told me to do pickup. I cannot leave my workplace in the middle of my shift. Will not order delivery from here again.

The egg rolls were horrible, hollow inside, not tasty at all. The General Tso chicken was tasty and the ribs were tasty very nice portion.

The food was inedible/overpriced. I had to throw all of the dishes out that I ordered. Their food was dry & tasted like cardboard......
