The manager welcomed us with open arms in from the rain. He immediately started with recommendations for us and our child. Everything was amazing. We had the place to ourselves for about 12 mins before every seat in the house was taken. Non wonder, right.

Really rude service. We waited ~5ish mins to speak to someone about a table and they said we could sit inside anywhere. We found a table in a back corner that was open and we were told that we should’ve been waited to be seated. The girls were really rude. We left and went somewhere else.

Seasonal menu and Italian classics. Lovely wine selection curated by a helpful sommelier. Amazing staff, I accidentally asked someone other than my waiter for their recommendations about the menu and they had a stellar review of the entire menu. I appreciate that detail.
If you want to try Il Buco’s other restaurant, you should.

Just returned from Elvis. On a rainy Wednesday night, the bar was packed at 8:30 PM when I arrived. Mostly young, handsome patrons.
I have the Elvis martini which is similar to a vesper. Then, ordered the cheese plate which had three excellent blocks of cheese. It came with toasted bread, honeycomb and tomato jam. An excellent selection
The green salad was delicious, with mixed greens, snow peas, green peas and a light dressing. But, the best dish of the night was the snails. Escargot served with garlic, parsley and olive oil. Delicious!

My friend and I had the best time here!! Its such a girl's girl bar. Service is incredible, melon spritz is delicious, and food was so good. We ordered the mushroom and truffle terrine, hamachi crudo and escargots gratin. Everything was so exquisite and I would 100% recommend

Holistically: - Sommelier approved wine selection (also thumbs up'd by the wine noobs as well) - Bites are a little on the pricier end but are worth it. The grilled cheese here is best one we've had (soooo gooey, soft, flavorful). The escargot balanced the seafood flavor without being overbearing - Ambiance is generally terrific: intimate, luxe, and welcoming, like you're being transported outside of nyc
Notes: - Weekday service was rather slow. One of our male hosts seemed to drag his feet when we asked to move tables, even though the table was free. It didn't seem like he cared too much about us. Not sure how comfortable I would feel visiting again on a weekday. - Weekend vibes are completely different. The place is BUSTLING, and loud. Surprisingly, the service on a Saturday was much better. We were taken care of by a wonderful hostess rocking a bob, eclectic glasses, and summer mini dress. She/they were soooooo good at their job: made space for us, grabbed menus, frequent check-ins without being suffocating, memorized our orders and graciously brought our items over, granted our requests, and generally was a freaking superstar. That really stood out to us, as we were taking a girlfriend who's never been before. She had the best time.
Def one of our favorite places now after stopping by on a random day after noticing the immaculate vibes outside.
