Violently disappointed in the ice cream. There was no peanut butter to my peanut butter scoop, and no crunch to my hazelnut crunch. I had to eat a loaf of bread after to make myself in a better mood.

Definitely pricey. But undeniably tasty.

A real neighborhood gem!TONS of flavors.TONS of toppings.TONS of cone options.I also love how good their vegan options are. A little pricey in general but this place has so much to choose from and there is something for everyone!

Pretty average ice cream. Interesting flavors but both that I got were too sweet. Would come back if there weren’t so many better spots in the same neighborhood.

Ice cream still tastes good, but portions are sadly tiny now (echoing the more recent reviews). They weigh the ice cream after they take your order, which explains why it’s the same small amount every time. Different experience than years ago and other emacks which is a shame. My advice: bring back your normal portions

When the manager came over and spent time with me and my son...well...it was a warmth rarely experienced in NYC!

The soft serve ice cream flavors are made out of powder. Flavor isn’t the only bad thing about this place. Prices are high and portions are small. Save your money and go elsewhere. Hard

Do NOT order from here. They are incredibly expensive and they get the orders wrong and won't take responsibility for it nor remedy it. I paid almost $60 for a 6 INCH birthday cake with two flavors that I chose (one of which was even recommended by the woman from whom I ordered the cake). When it was time to serve the cake I realized that one of the flavors was not what I had ordered. I called them the next day, explained the situation and even sent them a picture of the cake showing that the flavor was clearly incorrect and did not match my receipt which clearly indicated the flavors I had ordered. They refused to accept responsibility for the mistake and tried to tell me that it was in fact the flavor I ordered. They even sent me pictures of tubs of the two flavors (i.e. the flavor I had ordered and the flavor they used instead), but that even further proved my point as, when you compared their picture to the picture of my cake, the two flavors clearly looked different. Nevertheless they refused to compensate me in any way and the birthday was ruined by a cake with an incorrect flavor that was not liked. To make matters worse, the woman with whom I spoke about the mistake clearly identified the woman from whom I ordered the cake (and whose name comes up on the email when she responded to my emailing her the picture of my cake) as the owner, but when I finally spoke to the owner, she denied being the owner and tried to use that as an excuse as to why she couldn't do anything for me, rather she suggested reaching out to "Emack and Bolios Corporate" (and we all know how that would go). So they refused to take responsibility for what was clearly their mistake - with proof no less - and refused to do anything about it, despite my paying almost $60 for a 6 INCH cake that was wrong - and then I believe the owner lied about her being the owner in order to use that as an excuse not to help me. Super expensive and horrible service frought with mistakes.

OK this is just a hole in the wall ice cream place but the ice cream is really really good. I've walked by for years and never gone in. one day I went in on a whim, and was knocked out by the quality and the friendly service.

Nice Ice Cream if you are trying to diet. Because the portions are so small for so much money. $7.00 for a very small single cup. I would try Anita's at that price.

Found it to be a bit overpriced. Flavors are fun and rotating but we've seen most of these flavor combinations before. Very patient staff.

Criminally bad ice cream. My cookie dough had about 2 pieces of cookie dough in it, and it was potentially the worst cookie dough ice cream I have ever had.

The ice cream is good. But my three year old daughter had one scoop and a waffle cone and it cost eleven dollars. Mine with two scoops in a cup was 12.I mentioned to the person behind the counter that I could get two pints of haagen daaz on sale for twelve dollars. She responded "if it's on sale". Touché.The disinfectant spray they use everywhere and in everything at least smells faintly of mint which if you close your eyes is like a free topping.
