I've been here multiple times over the years, so it's about time that I say something nice.
Sometimes, you can wait a bit (although I have witnessed wait times improve greatly over the years, especially if you order ahead). But the ambience is worth the wait, with great music and courtesy while you wait for your food. Much appreciated!

Incredible discovery in NYC! Leonardo at Empanada Mama was super helpful with my vegetarian requests and made the ideal choices. I am visiting from LA and was referred here by the Moxy LES—- an amazing “in the know” place for anyone visiting (or local) and open 25 hrs!
This place is out of its mind. We ordered food and weren’t allowed to sit because we unknowingly ordered from the takeout section. What a joke. Why would you not let people that are trying to sit down in your restaurant stay there.
