I love a good empanada and while these are not the empanadas from Caracas at Far Rockaway beach, being that these are so accessible, I am a fan. I picked up an assortment of 10 empanadas to take to a party and they were a huge hit. I wasn't sure about the "fried" arepas being too greasy given I am used to baked empanadas, but I really enjoyed both the baked and fried options that I tried. I wish that they offered more baked options as those are more "basic" - just chicken, beef, cheese, potato and some of the more specialty empanadas are truly delicious. In particular I liked the bombay, greek spinach pie, and spicy chicken. While the 10 empanadas just came in a paper bag, each was individually wrapped with a stamp on the bag as to which flavor it was.

God bless. This feels like a thing in a story someone tells about New York twenty years ago and how good things were before you were there. After getting home from a birthday party we bought a sack of empanadas and ate them in bed in the hotel room. We were feral with hunger and they were so nice at the storefront. You think you want the corn, but you really want the shredded beef wheat.

Food was amazing. Loved the shredded chicken and the Cuban. Flour was my favorite as it was the perfect texture and flavor especially the ends pressed together, but the corn also had a good flavor and texture. The cheeseburger wasn't as good, but I would certainly go back and order a shredded chicken and another. Probably need 2-4 to fill up.

OMG The empanadas were absolutely delicious. I order shredded chicken. They're fried and made of what we call Hojaldre. The empanadas take like 5 or 7 minutes to get prepared it's really fresh but you have to wait. The only little thing I didn't like was that I had to pay almost 1 dollar for a tiny little extra container of their delicious green sauce.It.was so GOOD! 100% RECOMMENDED.They have a bunch of different kindsIt was worth the $5

DO NOT COME HERE There was a cockroach in my empanada. I broke the empanada in half I was eating it, and I see something strange and I pulled out a fucking cockroach and started throwing up everywhere don't ever come here also I should've knew something was gonna be wrong because when I walked in there was a woman's pad on the floor obviously in wrapper but like why did none of the employees pick that up that's fucking disgusting

I really wanted for this food to be to be good based on the reviews. I paid $60 via Uber plus delivery service and tips. I am Dominican and I do know what good and seasoned Spanish/ Latino food should taste like.I ordered the Colombian paisa plate and food was not good, the steak did not have any seasoning and it was sooo chewy, the chorizo tasted like it cooked on old oil, and the pork belly taste like pure pork and saggy, not crunchy at all, no type of seasoning.I paid all that money and only ate the beans, white rice, eggs and maduros. Threw the rest of it to the garbage.

Visiting around Times Square and tried out this little gem. Ordered the chicken soup, a spicy chicken, and a birria beef empanada. The homemade chicken soup was packed with flavor and was hearty, especially in early Feb. The empanadas were crunchy and the filling was delicious. Very reasonably priced and not a long line. A worthy stop if you’re in the area.

The place is good, it is well located, it has a variety of flavors in its empanadas, but the place is quite small and sometimes it gets crowded and you have to wait a long time if you want to eat their product. The empanadas always come out fresh and are quite tasty.

I'm not even going to lie but after a night of drinking, I don't know how I even got here. I was with my coworkers after a big party, and we were looking for something to grub on. Someone recommended this place, and I am so glad she did. Couldn't tell you how the service was and what the actual atmosphere was like cause I was too gone to remember lol but I do remember that the empanada I had was DANK. I ordered the Mac n cheese one, and it came out piping hot and stuffed. With each bite, I doused it in the red hot sauce which revived my soul. Honestly still thinking about it as I write this review, that's how good it was. Didn't try any of the other flavors but do not skip out on the Mac n cheese one. There's some ham in it as well. I should probably come try this when I'm sober lol, but it really hit the spot after a night out. Open pretty late too so that's also a win!

small and efficient. there are a few counter seats inside. easily one of the best options for a quick pre- or post- theater bite.Dietary restrictions: good quick bite for someone who's dairy-free/can't do a dollar slice. many vegetarian options as well
