Good happy hour M-F 5-6pm. The nachos were loaded and delish. Great variety of margaritas. Service was great.

This place used to be much more flexible and veg friendly! I don’t like Brussels sprouts and asked if the chef could make mixed veggies taco and they said no ? Like I’m sure they have onions peppers and mushrooms that they could’ve thrown together. I was quite surprised at the inflexibility. They used to be so flexible when they first opened.

Terrible service. They do not accommodate for food allergies or preferences. Being vegan with a tree nut allergy, I asked to have the brussel sprout taco with toppings from another taco (usually it comes with all almond based toppings). I was told it was impossible to make changes to the tacos. All you're doing is putting ingredients on a tortilla, it's a very simple request.

The green salad was so salty it was inedible. And the $9 side of rice was tiny and looked like it had been sitting out for hours. Nachos were fine, but had barely any cheese on them. Shrimp tacos were good, especially compared to everything else. The outside seating is very pleasant, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They took the salad and rice off our bill, which definitely made me feel better about the meal... But I won't be returning. It's too bad, this would be a cute local spot for people who live in the area.
Instead, I'd recommend the taco truck Fogon over on Amsterdam it's outstanding and a fraction of the price. Walk over there for your food, and then back to waterline square for a much better meal with the same outside seating.

Less experimental and upscale than when it first opened, now just a solid neighborhood taqueria. Come for the killer happy hour taco/drink specials (see photo) and gorgeous daylight. Carnitas were dry but the chicken-árbol tacos were a reminder of glorious days gone by. I think folks are upset about the downmarket repositioning - but honestly it’s still very satisfying

Nice outdoor spot with overpriced mediocre food. The mushroom and steak tacos were covered in spicy sauce that made them almost inedible. Reading past reviews, it seems like this is a recent decline in the quality of this particular restaurant. Too bad.

Overpriced frozen food. This place used to be much better. Margaritas were good though.

This place must have changed owners. The food was not fresh, and out of a frozen box. The menu has changed, the quality has gone down.Avoid this spot.

What happened? This place is on a downward spiral. Per our server, it was management's decision to switch to paper plates and plastic ware, salsa in a paper cup, etc. Plus the menu is lesser than it once was. They removed the most exciting order: the Seven Salsas. And instead of 2 tacos per order, it's now just one. What a shame to see a great place decline and fall (and maybe fail).

so sad! one of our favorites bites the dust. this used to be an AMAZING spot, but it’s horrible now. i ordered two tacos i’ve had many times: skirt steak and hot fried chicken. the fried chicken was freezer burned nonsense (see photo) and the skirt steak was smothered in extra hot salsa that burned our mouths and couldn’t finish. we know this salsa … it’s left over from the ‘seven salsas’ that no one was eating and they are pouring it all over the food. YIKES. don’t go here, we are sad.
What happened to this restaurant? Their menu is now just a small sampling of what they used to offer. They don’t have nearly enough staff. And, the worst—they now serve on paper plates and use plastic utensils. At this rate, I’ll be stunned if they’re still open by the end of summer.

Incredibly underwhelming with a HUGE price tag. Our party spent about $700 for a birthday event. We each received paper plates and plastic utensils. Protein on tacos were tough and inedible, tough to chew and lacked flavor. We were the only party aside from another group on a friday night during prime-time dinner. The drinks were watered down and weak.

Poor experience. Everything is served on disposable plates and utensils. Menu is limited and tacos are not great.
