Tried their Chicken Platter for $11 and it was excellent. The food and sauces were fresh and not greasy, while the chicken was soft and flavorful. The guys were nice and I got my order in 5mins.

Hands down best halal I’ve ever had in NYC of all Burroughs. Everyone I know is obsessed with them including our whole office, we placed a large order which Rocky took and everyone that worked that day did such a great job. Seriously you will not regret, just be aware you may become addicted!

Really good Halal food very fresh prompt service their was two people ahead of me and the gentleman taking orders took my order and started preparing my rice while my chicken was being made they have all of the popular sauces and also a slaw I recommend adding the pickled jalapeños if you are into a bit of spice all in all a wonderful eating experience!!!

My go to halal spot! Empire is always delicious, saucy, and fresh. I typically order the fish over rice with hot sauce, white sauce, and bbq sauce. The fish is always cooked just right and the plate comes with a generous portion. My friend ordered the chicken and lamb salad and said it was satisfying and one of his favorite halal meals. We also ordered the samosa, which came with a mint chutney and duck sauce (it sometimes comes with tamarind too). The samosa has a great spicy flavor. Service is always very fast. Would highly recommend!

I come here regularly for lunch and it's top notch!!! Easily the best halal cart food I've had in the midtown area. Whether you get chicken, lamb, combo, or fish over rice they're all solid! Personal favorite is chicken over rice with white sauce, hot sauce, and green sauce. If you're splurging, make sure to get the rice pudding too, it's incredible.
