Walked in and picked up a cupcake and slice of cake. They were so hard I could barely get my fork in them. The icing felt like glue in my mouth. Very disappointing <\3

As a food allergy parent, Erin McKenna's is godsend! Everything is delicious! I try to come in every time I'm in the city. Thank you!

We were so happy with our cakes. They were incredibly delicious. I had the carrot cake and my daughter had the lemon and poppyseed. The employees were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely recommend.

I happened upon Erin McKennas in my search for a gingerbread decorating kit around the holidays that I could bring to my friend's house for her daughter. I was skeptical how good the cookies would taste given that this bakery is gluten free, but the cookies were delicious and we honestly wouldn't have even known they were gluten free. The kit itself was also very cute - there was frosting and sprinkles and a dozen very large gingerbread men to decororate. My only complaint is that they were not ready for the time I had placed the order for and I had to wait a good thirty minutes for them to pull it together, but it was the holidays after all. After trying the gingerbread cookies, I'm definitely interested in coming back and trying more things here!

Would not good back here. The cake I ordered days in advance came in the wrong colors, they have white round vanilla cake stock photo, but sent me a pink and Purple Heart shaped cake. The shop said on the phone they don't do custom cakes and will send you whatever cake they have in but they don't tell you that while ordering. plus the item is listed with customization notes section? Attached photos of random specs of other color Icing on the cake, the icing separating and having holes, the bottom piping in unfinished. The cake looks inedible and the shop did not apologize, blamed the delivery driver and would not help me at all. Couldn't serve this cake. Waste of $100.

I was so looking forward to this after reading all the great reviews, and as a gluten free baker myself, I know it’s possible for these kinds of treats to taste amazing. Unfortunately the donut was just like a wet dense cake in a donut shape. The Vege bomb was flavorful but rock hard and dry. The service was lackluster at best, without even an acknowledgement when we both said goodbye. All in all, disappointing, especially considering we walked a long way to go here specifically. I’d recommend Modern Bread & Bagel for gluten free treats instead.

Hard to find bakery since the store awning says nothing on it. The bakery itself is extremely small. It has two tables that have two chairs each. When we came in no one greeted us. One of the workers was sitting at one of the tables but when we walked in they got up and went to the back where the employees are. There were a variety of donuts and cakes. Nothing has a price on it. While looking at the display all the employees were silent. Still no one asking us if we needed help. We purchased a coffee cake slice and an Oreo donut. I had the donut which was soft and crumbly. It does have an unexpected citrus flavor to it. I'd give them another try

Such high hopes…squashed.Totally screwed up my son and daughter-in-laws wedding cake. Cake wasn’t ready when promised and it looked like a first grader decorated it. Their lack of a response to the problem with the cake shows a lack of concern for the customer. “We got your money. Screw you!”

This place offers vegan/gluten free donuts, cookies, and other such treats. Naturally, vegan and gluten-fee does *not* necessary = healthy; and the treats here are quite sugary. There is no place to sit--this is a take-out place. However, if you have a meal at a local vegan place (there are a bunch in the area) and want a sweet dessert after, you can go here and take your donut to a local coffee shop. My suggestion: be careful not to let your eyes be bigger than your stomach by gorging too much--the pastry here is super sweet; I sense that getting one small donut (perhaps to share) is the best. I got a birthday cake here and had a bit of a sugar overdose. Updated from previous review on 2019-08-10

I used to love coming here for their lemon loaf. So moist and bright. but I think it's quickly heading downhill. Like, what is a $7 slice of lemon loaf doing with half the icing gone? It was also very dry and generally didn't look like what it used to in its prime.

Got a birthday cake and it was very delicious, although a very classic gluten-free texture. If you are gf this is probably right up your alley. I would like to go back and see what else I might like. The cake was beautiful ❤️ #Veganuary

Ok preface I got a too good to go order at like 6 pm. I’m not vegan but I eat a ton of vegan food, I honestly was not a fan of these donuts. I see most comments are positive so it may just be my taste, but what I had was dense and almost wet-ish. Maybe I should judge after going in the morning or something. But those are just my thoughts it’s worth trying though there’s so many other options in the city I would recommend over this.Dietary restrictions: Vegan gluten free

Little hidden gem that serves those with allergies. All allergenic bakery so we have nothing to worry about when we get something from here. This is was my yearly birthday trip and I'm never disappointed. If you haven't came here yet, it's a must. Even if you aren't GF/DF/egg free, peanut free or whatever free, their donuts, tea cakes, cupcakes are just delicious. And if my 18 year old eats them then you know they are good.
