E’s has been my favorite bar in NYC for about 8 years now. Every time I come to E’s, I feel like I’m home. The vibes are incredible, the staff (shout out to Franklin and Reuben, we love you!!!) are amazing, and the food is actually delicious (the E’s burger and nachos are personal favorites). Nothing better than an E’s pour of wine at happy hour. And what an incredible happy hour it is. Also a perfect place to have a group event or hang. Love you always E’s!!!!!!!!

Such a comfy and friendly neighbourhood place! The comedy in the back room was a bit unpolished, but good fun. Monday nights bartender was an expert, doing splendid two handed work with the cocktail mixing at the same time as conversing with customers. Turned out he had trained in Scandinavia! Will go back (and tip better next time)

This bar was awful. The service was very slow and we had to ask our server multiple times for different items. No receipt was provided and we had to ask multiple times and wait over 10 minutes to get it. I understand the bar was busy but that is no excuse to completely ignore the other customers. The receipt did not list the totals for each item. On top of that, the bar automatically charged an unknown tip percentage but with the website prices we calculated it to be about 20% of the post-tax price. There was no mention on the menu or website that there would be a mandatory tip or other fees applied. An extra drink we never ordered was also added to our bill. We did not realize this until after leaving the bar because no totals were provided. Although the burgers were excellent, we will not be coming to this place again.

We just had a birthday party here on Saturday night - super easy to coordinate a 20+ person group, no issues with everyone having their own tab, and the service could not have been better. John took such great care of us - he was lovely, lively, and super attentive! We love you e’s!
