Rude and not much to offer. I went in for bread and butter. When I asked for it the lady simply said "no". So rude. I thought it was a joke because of how she answered. I asked how come and she said they don't toast bread or heat anything up here. What kind of bakery is this?

This little bakery is a neighborhood gem. It’s been here longer than I have, and I moved here in 1995. Always fresh pastries. I’ve always gotten the guava and cheese pastries, and I love them here, but recently I started getting their big, fluffy, fresh sugar donuts. They taste like old fashioned donuts, which I haven’t seen anywhere in a long long time. The last time I was there I picked up some slices of the guava glazed cake and a whole pound cake, so good.

I was in the neighborhood one morning, and as a pastry lover, I was happy to see this bakery near my destination. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm and excitement for a bread pudding I ordered was diminished after one icy bite. Yes, the bread pudding that they sold to me in the display was partially frozen.

It is the best bakery located in the area on upper Manhattan 181 with the best oatmeal and coffee where they have hundreds of customers who stand in long lines to enjoy their hot items and cakes available so far this location in Washington heights has no competition...✌️ ✌️✌️✌️

Went in today for a hot chocolate and decided I wanted to accompany it with something to eat and I asked for the "pudin de pan" I know they usually make a sweet and bland one and I wanted to mark it because I didn't know the difference and the ladies behind the counter were literally making fun of me and were smiling right infront of my face and one of them smiling said she was laughing because of someone's coffee i didnt say anything nor did i entertain this type of behavior. That was just plain rude and disrespectful. People should show more class and integrity. Don't do to others what you wouldn't want to be done to you. Never buying here again.
Great bread and cakes with good prices. Looks attractive.
Good service.
