What a fantastic dining experience! Each dish was perfectly prepared, elegantly presented, and tasted amazing. We were glad Chef Christophe came out to say hello so we could tell him personally how much we enjoyed his creations. Gavin did a wonderful job serving us and the warm hospitality shown us by Karen and her team exceeded expectations. This is a special place - wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

We ate here last night and it was obvious (again) that the chef’s nomination for a James Beard award is so well deserved. We ate at the bar but were able to order a la carte off the dining room menu as well as the bar menu. Everything beginning with the amuse bouche of mushroom cappucino was outstanding. We were well taken care of by our server Gifty who also mixes very good drinks. Food, service, and hospitality all top notch. Looking forward to returning again!
My father and I took our yearly guys trip to NYC last year and decided to book a table to celebrate my 18th birthday again. Absolutely amazing from finish to start! They even brought out a personalized plate, a little cake and a candle, which was very nice of them. The Price is very reasonable for what you're getting and we left completely satisfied. Highly recommend!

An underrated and underdiscovered elegant restaurant with amazing service. A Well deserved Michelin star, they went out of their way to make my friend's birthday a fabulous experience. The burger (not on a tasting menu) was top class and tasting menu was also a hit, especially caviar topped scallops. The dessert was a bit too sweet though.

Essential by Christophe, was an exsperience of simplicity meets elegance and delicasy. Front of house staff were fast, aware and effective. You could feel seen and taken Care of without being overlooked. Asking tricky questions regarding the food or technices used in the kitchen was no problem for the staff to answer. This was especially true when it came to our host Michael. The dinning room was nicely designed, in a Way that give you room for yourself. But you could still hear and feel the joy of the other guests around you when they enjoyed their food. The food, was perfect. Im not a poet but it felt like a love letter to cooking. I Got invested in to every single component on the dishes. You also got the feeling that chef Christophe loves the ocean, with 2 of the dishes being chosen as oyster and langoustine. And the 2 multiple choise dishes I decided on were the scallop with caviar and the turbot. If you have the time and money this is a must visit.

This was by far one of the best places we have dinned at. The menu is innovative and well thought of. The ambience is very calming, appropriately and nicely decorated. The staff are very nice and helpful. The food is amazing and deserves more stars for sure.

Came here with my friend on the second day of my NY trip and it was great! From start to finish, every dish was creative and beautifully balanced in flavor. I ordered a drink that was a bit too spicy for me, and when they asked how it was, I jokingly said that I liked my friend’s better. They immediately offered to make me a new one. I didn’t take it because it was honestly fine, but I was genuinely touched by their generosity :)
The pacing of the dishes was just right, they gently wiped our table between each course. They were super thoughtful. I had a truly wonderful experience, and this was definitely one of the highlights of my short trip.
