My wife and I had to use the restroom which was for customers only so we purchased a very overpriced bottle of water and waited for a few minutes for them to unlock the restroom, which the cashier said didn’t have a code. It remained locked but since they were busy we decided to wait outside for the lobby to clear to ask for help. Once it cleared we went back in and the “owner”? Or manager berated us for not spending enough to use his restroom even though his coworker said it was fine. He yelled at us in front of everyone saying we didn’t spend enough, going as far as to say it was a million dollars to use it. It’s my first time in New York but I’ve spent years in the service industry and this guy has no place.

Great spot for refreshments or even a main meal. Excellent value, generous portions and friendly, efficient staff. The food is really tasty and prepared to you liking. Fantastic ambiance in the heart of the action of Times Square. Whats not to like?

The place is very casual and candid dining that has simple menu options for everybody. I ordered medium-rare steak, and it was perfectly cooked the way I want it. The employees greeted us upon entering the cafe and guide us to our table. My husband had their Mushroom toast and Gay beer, and he liked it so much. They have a neat and tidy good-looking waiter. We are looking forward to going back here.

Really I prefere other EUROPA CAFE, because Is a mess, difficult to use the baths, etc. The SERVICE Is good but I prefere for example the Europa Café in the Av of Las América and 46 St. Good Food. Good prices!!!

Very friendly staff and good food. Not too pricey either! Everything feels a bit rushed here, but on the bright side, there is hardly ever a line. A great lunch spot. I like making my own salads. They charge by what you put in it but don’t easily differentiate which mix ins are in which price tier. Overall, I would definitely recommend Europa Cafe for a quick bite to eat!
